I have to say the One Drive thing is handy.

It does not help me I backed up everything on disc only to find out my new laptop has not got one.

So get an external USB disk reader, then send all your data upstairs.

I need to buy a new laptop at the moment I am using Windows 10. Now most new laptops have Windows 11. Is there a big different in operation? I am not a computer geek so Windows 11 will be new for me so what is the main different?

I am running Windows 10 because that's what came installed on the PC.   Windows 11 looks horrible even at the start,  the desktop design looks awful,  I like the Windows 10 and I run classic shell so I can see desktop icons.

I do not like Ubuntu, and only tested in once about a decade ago, or maybe 6 years in the past.

You are in a bubble. I owned and Audi 5 in 1985.  It was crap.

Ten years later, Audi wasn't crap.

I would be happy to have an Audi.
