Even Srettha sucking up to the military to become PM has backfired.
A case against Srettha was launched by 40 military-appointed senators in May seeking the dismissal of Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin.

He is sooo popular that no one wants him in politics.

We always assumed the General wasn't a politician, hence why nothing was done regarding the pollution.

But this guy has no excuses. As someone who travels around Europe ALOT, used to clean air, a billionaire, for him to do LITERALLY NOTHING TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE REGARDING POLLUTION (especially in Chiang Mai which is ranked as the most polluted city in the world for a few months) is scandalous.

You wonder why then a billionaire would be in this game for if it isn't to improve the lives of Thai people ?

This is beyond totally bizarre, nobody that I've spoken to since the man was elected seems to like him, nobody that I've spoken to since the man was elected seems to think that he's done a good job. So where are they pulling these numbers out of besides just a mysterious hat? Sometimes one sees and reads absolute nonsense, BS and tripe, and has to acknowledge it as being nothing but that.

He is a do nothing PM.

They are the best kind, they can't make mistakes and they leave everybody alone to get on with their lives under a system they know.

It was laughable how he become PM. He really has no genuine mandate from the people.

Achieved nothing at all.

Should have been given the position of Tourist minister, not leader of a developing nation.

Think's he is the PM of a G7 western developed nation.

His tourist policy of allowing anyone and their dog to enter Thailand is an enviromental disaster, will allow the worst criminals in the world to enter, and will push up rents - none of which he has addressed.

Concerns over motives around some policies, despite selling shares to his daughter - which doesn't really close the book on the issue.

His positioning around Thaksin leaves him a worldwide laughing stock.

"not leader of a developing nation." and what or where is this developing nation? Are you referring to The Banana Republic of Thailand? If so there is an awful lot of developing needing done.

His only qualification to lead a country appears to be he is a billionaire.

At least the General had some experience in the military, and was ready to lay his life for the country on account of actually serving in the forces.

- No action taken on pollution. Will Chiang Mai be the most polluted city in the world next January. You bet it will. How can anyone be so disgusting to not take action?

-Anything done to tackle the huge inequality of wealth from rich Thais (including himself) and the majority who are further down. Nothing at all.

-International policies? Nope nothing. Going to France to ask for visa free access, only not to be aware France does not make it's border policy (it controlled as a collective by the European Union).

Positives

- He speaks English

- He smiles alot. Which makes him palatable than an angry looking military guy.

"At least the General had some experience in the military," and what has a Military Academy educated soldier got to do with running a country? You are talking about a guy who stole the country in an illegal coup. Was it not Generals or Senators or whatever they are called who stopped Pita, the guy with the most votes from being the PM through some technicalities?
