Who is Joe Manchin !

Dem Senator recently turned  independent!

manchin  voted alongside biden & dems until May, when he left the party!

He’s gonna go back as a dem or a Independent candidate to disenfranchise 14 million voters !It will be interesting to see what he does with  Illegal Immigration,Wokeism & DEI! I think if he pivots away from that , he will be the next POTUS.

Dem democracy hasn’t figured it out yet though.

Why it matters: Manchin left the party in May but could see an opening to run as a moderate option after President Biden withdrew from the race on Sunday.

Reality check: Manchin would struggle to find any backing from more liberal Democrats, making a bid to unite the party a long shot.

Manchin goes where the wind blows him, his political meandering only serves himself.

I agree , also  he caucuses with the dems.

manchin endorsed  bidens agenda  majority of the time!

obama didnt endorse  kamala this time but he’s leaving it up to a new primary vote! Lol

manchin is a moderate , if he pulls away from the far lefts Marxist agenda, mentioned above in my previous comment, he will take the Swing vote away from Trump!

Anyone following Politics can see that manchin will best harris!

Trump has another hill to climb, to convince the Swing voters he should have a second chance!

Enter the left’s propaganda media and watch the -hit show as they try to

spin everything away !

Now I think the dems won’t have to manipulate the election process

any more!

Trump will get what WE THE PEOPLE deserve  an election to decide who wins!
Going forward Some things just cant be spun away, and that is

The dem party effort to use lawfare

to subvert democracy!

Seems like the dems are afraid of a moderate candidate. He held his own against Biden's spending bills I recall.

I think you need to differentiate between Dem voters and the Dem elite.

It’s all about the influence and funding. Which politicians are are the most easily exploited manipulated and swayed by lobbyists that pour billions into funding politicians and bringing massive spending bills to the table that only serves the mega blackrock and vanguard etc corps. to believe that these politicians are working for the interests of the individual constituents is absurd. They are all on the take.

From this perspective, it appears the dem voters are unaware.

Fetterman would be the ideal Democratic nominee for me. In no way, shape, or form am I voting for anything Trump-like. And I only need one reason, as does anyone else from the US who is drawing money from the US to support their life in Thailand. That is this: Trump and Vance have said they are eager to devalue the dollar. I now get almost 10 baht to the dollar more than I did under Trump. So my default support goes to anyone who wants to maintain dollar strength. That includes RFKjr: https://bitcoinmagazine.com/culture/rfk-jr-plans-to-back-dollar-with-bitcoin

The baht exchange rate won't really matter if someone blunders us into WW3.

They may not even do it deliberately.

The exchange rate for the dollar was over 35 when Trump took office. He ran it down to below 30.

How did the baht do against the GBP in the same timeframe?

Not a pointed question, just curious, and it's tough to research on a tiny screen in a hospital waiting room...

Manchin looks & smells like a Uniparty

choice!

I’m still anti establishment and will support any candidate  who will expose the Washington establishment!

The British had their own devaluation crisis. And, besides, I don't live in the UK. I live in Thailand, where Trump dumped the exchange rate to below 30.

For me, that's the appeal of The Donald.  Since Citizens United (and before that) DC has been broken by big money and fringe pandering.

Of the viable candidates, Trump is the only one that offers even a tiny chance of reform.  The rest of them offer nothing but the same old, same old.

Distasteful as I used to find Trump's ego and hwavy handed tactics, that's what's required to survive DC's swamp.

I'd rather have a glimmer of hope for reform than none at all. Even if there's mean tweets to tolerate.

Trump is hellbent on devaluing the dollar. He will cost me money. Not a matter of if, maybe, or perhaps. He's stated that he's going to do it. Anybody bringing in dollars to Thailand to support themselves will see their income cut under Trump.

Manchin is a man about to be unemployed because he fell for Joe's promises that were later broken. His cogent helped lass the infrastructure bill that was really not anything to do with infrastructure. In exchange Joe was supposed to let some energy projects go ahead. Biden cut his throat and tried to ban energy orojects in his home state. It made him very unpopular in West Virginia where he is from.

the state sued successfuly to reverse whatever Joe was trying to do and Manchin once a popular senator can no longer even entertain the idea of winning federal office again. Well golly gee shucks my republican friends. He speaks like that and is annoying. He will be part of the reason the GOP takes the senate ultimately.
