Just noticed I joined this forum in July 2004.

It was a big part of my life living in Thailand in the early days.

To quote one of my heroes,

"I've seen 'em come and go and I've seen 'em die. And long ago I stopped askin' why."

Oh, FFS, you are back? How depressing. It was so pleasant when you decided to go fork off and ride your dildo for a day.

I remember you from my early days. Yes, we know why.

Right. But I don't take it as seriously as some who consider this forum their life.

When I joined, I was working away from home in a quiet rural town. It was great to be able to connect to other expats.

it helped me learn Thai.

I got great advice for becoming a Thai citizen.

Chill out dude.

Do you use Facebook, Instagram or TikTok?

I'd like to connect.

This is a place for expats who have spare time to argue about things interesting and nonsensical.

Great. Glad you got something out of it. But if it no longer feels like what it used to, then accept that things change, and move on if it no longer makes you happy. But no moaning necessary.

No, those are for children who like to doom scroll all day looking at garbage. You use those too? I only use YouTube, but I guess that's not what you were hoping for.

Thanks for the advice. You are wise person.

Well put. I'll debate about the topics being interesting though. Most of the time they seem designed to wind people up.

If I were you, I'd look into what my motive was for posting here.

Often, people post things like that due to some low self-esteem issues.

No disrespect, but it's good to improve ourselves.

Are you new to Thailand?

Can you speak Thai yet?

Have you got a Thai gf?

No

Yes

More than one

But all irrelevant. You think by knowing that information you know me better or can pigeonhole me in some way. That is your problem. You put too much emphasis into think this cyber world all means something.

Some, trollers, do exactly that. Low self esteem or narcissism shows it's ugly head, arguing because they always think they are right, even when proven wrong. Some just post things to get a rise out of people, or a laugh. Some target certain people who have proven them wrong before, and they feel the need to argue with those people just because. Some think they are actually smarter than people they've never met, which is usually due to low self esteem. Instead of just sitting back and learning from others, they have to jump in and try and prove them wrong by posting links by people who make opinions on subjects, just because they believed  them before.

Only Face, Thai people say 'Face'.

No, I was hoping to connect to a new member, you can PM me and maybe we share common interests, maybe even meet for a drink. Do you drink?

I'm in Hua Hin, where are you?

Jobless.

Well, this is getting boring. You and your  anonymous friends, who all like to moan together, can carry on though. Enjoy. Peace out. ✌🏼

Oh, you are retired. What was your previous career?

Did you manage to retire young, or are you a pensioner?

Meditation, prayer, and self-examination are a big part of my daily routine.

Are you from San Francisco?

You should try some activities where you are actually doing something, rather than just sitting there doing nothing

The irony is you are giving fake answers, while trying to draw out useless information about someone who is simply calling out your BS. Meanwhile, your username says it all "Nameless". Oh, the irony of someone claiming he is part of a community and states from the get-go that he plans to remain anonymous. 😂

I am telling the truth. I am in recovery and those things are vital.

I am trying to be nice to a new forum member but you are not accepting it.

Please share some personal details so we can get to know you better.
