What do you mean by post war control?

Do you mean occupation?

What else could it be? One wonders what Biden is thinking as netanyahu snubs his nose at him and his previously stated desire that israel does not occupy Gaza, after combat finishes.

To get there by aircraft they have to pass by or over unfriendly countries, and they will no doubt be waiting for the attack. It would be easiest to eliminate the refueling aircraft as they fly more slowly, and without refueling the attack aircraft will not get back, and no friendly countries to land in.

I assume it'll be by missiles or Iranian interests elsewhere.

You'll find out soon enough and then you can come back and complain about Israel having the audacity to strike back defending itself against terrorists eh..........

Israel says attack on Iran will be precise and lethal
“They won’t understand what happened and how,” defense minister vows.

Let's not forget the continual killing in Gaza.

At least 28 people have been killed in an Israeli air strike on a school sheltering displaced families in the central Gaza Strip, the Palestinian Red Crescent says.

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/ce9jm4ggjgyo

A precise strike on a Hamas command center killing terrorists using a school, unforuntely a few civilians also casulaties . Thanks for the reminder of the killing in Gaza. Another war crime by Hamas. Trust you to miss out that information in the same link. You have to read links when your not posting Al Jazeera lies.

“precise strike” targeted Hamas fighters operating inside a "command-and-control centre” at the school.

It also said it had taken numerous steps to mitigate harm to the civilians living there.

“This is a further example of the Hamas terrorist organisation’s systematic abuse of civilian infrastructure in violation of international law,” it added. Hamas has denied the allegation.

This occupation would be a violation of Lebanese sovereignty.

Hezbollah is an occupying force. It is not the Lebanese state. Why are you not opposed to a militarized religious group occupying southern  lebanon? Why not return sovereignty and control to lebanon? If that was done, there would not be a need for Israel to intervene.

Graphic description on how the Hamas executed hostages were found in the Gaza tunnel relayed by one of the brave mothers in an interview. One of them was found dead, bullet ridden but slumped on his knees while one of the beautiful women who was also executed had her head laying on his lap.

"Rachel Goldberg: Hersh was found on his knees. He had collapsed and was on his knees with Eden Yerushalmi’s head on his lap. It was a horrifying scene.

All of them were so thin. All of them were shot multiple times at close range. There were bottles of urine, very dark urine, found throughout the tunnel showing how dehydrated all of them were. There was a plastic bucket that they had put at the end of the tunnel for some sort of privacy. It was just a nightmare."

My deepest condolences to all the families of the  murdered hostages and other  Israeli  victims of the Oct 7 attacks who were killed simply because they were Jewish.  My deepest condolences also go to the families of non-Israeli and non-Jewish victims of the attacks.

Lebanon used to be a modern Christian majority country.

Then, the Islam virus took over.

I visited Lebanon way back in 1970 before the PLO invasion.  I was totally surprised by how tolerant and progressive it was.  Beirut had a nightlife scene that rivaled any European city.   Christians and Muslims lived in harmony with mutual respect.  The Lebanese Civil War destroyed all of that.

Nethanyahu has demanded the unifil soldiers depart lebanon. He wants no witnesses.

Then again, if Netanyahu would had requested that UNIFIL soldiers stay , then it would be because he wants to kill them as well 🙂

Right, like the 'accidental' attacks on unifil earlier.
