Thai Police Commission Validates Decision to Dismiss Police General Surachate Hakpar

On August 6, 2024, Thawatchai Thaikhiew, a deputy spokesperson of the Police Civil Service Commission (PCSC), shared on Facebook that the dismissal of Police General Surachate Hakparn, also known as "Big Joke," was upheld. Hakparn was earlier suspended from his duties.

The validity of Hakparn's dismissal, initially approved by Police General Kittirat Phanphet, was under the commission's review. The PCSC met to consider the highly publicized case and has informed both Hakparn, who appealed against the decision, and the National Police Office, to which the appeal was made.

Hakparn appealed his dismissal on April 18, 2024, arguing the decision was illegal and demanded it be revoked. The case attracted significant public and media attention, with many debating the legalities and facts of the case.

After a detailed investigation, which involved listening to both sides and examining the evidence, the PCSC concluded that Hakparn's dismissal was conducted lawfully and with valid reasoning. The commission affirmed the original decision to suspend Hakparn from his duties.

The PCSC rejected Hakparn's appeal and his request for provisional actions. However, Hakparn maintains the right to take his case to the Supreme Administrative Court within the next 90 days if he disagrees with the decision, reported The Pattaya News.

If there has ever been any Thai police that I have ever had respect for, that is Big Joke. He should even become Prime Minister of Thailand.

Also on the 6 August, The Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO) has made another seizure of deposits totalling 480,000 baht from Deputy National Police Chief Pol Gen Surachate Hakparn and his spouse.

This action is part of an ongoing investigation into two illegal online gambling websites, betflixroyal.com and betflikroyal.net, from which assets worth over 109 million baht were previously confiscated.

AMLO revealed that some funds linked to these illegal activities were used to pay insurance premiums for Pol Gen Surachate and his spouse. Pol Gen Surachate is under investigation for bribery and money laundering related to the BNK Master online gambling ring.

No dates, no times, no locations, nothing. No paper, no records, no bank accounts. All inadmissable as evidence. These committees and panels that keep popping up have no real jurisdiction. Just kangaroo courts. Either put up or shut up!

He’s not fighting the allegations against him. Instead he’s fighting the procedural stuff. What does that tell you?

It's odds on the stitch up! he has a big box of tissues at the ready but no happy ending today so it must be jail or flee no other options BJ you have been outplayed by Big Ballsak Torsak 🤔

You have to understand how the police system works to understand about BJ and the others.

It starts with new recruits.  They often have to "buy" their application.

Once out on the streets, they are given a target by their immediate manager that they have to bring in each month, that gets handed up the line, everyone has a target except the Chief of Police.  Everything the recruit brings in over & above that target, he can keep.

If you play this game you get promoted.  If you don't play the game then you never get promoted.

What this means, is that everyone above the level of new recruit is corrupt.  Not most of them, absolutely all of them.

As you get promoted and often it gets competitive for roles, you play the game, sometimes you "buy" your new position and if you lose, you keep quiet and everyone's back is watched.

BJ isn't playing the game.  He has dirt on everyone, they have dirt on him. You can be sure the online gambling thing is true, but they must be holding back something much worse to stop him from spilling everything on those around him.  He will have been told to "take his medicine" and they'll let him go quietly into the sunset.  He is not taking his medicine.  It's a very dangerous situation for all of them.

If this guy has some crap on all these so called high dollar people in power then it's about time he dropped the bomb on all of them everyone around the world know there all as corrupt as hell

What I want to know is, where are the billions of baht hidden? It is the  biggest pyramid scheme in the country, and he was near the top. He is not  innocent and he is playing games, as usual.

Think they are playing the losing face and the perception of guilty in others eyes.  To get others to believe it just has to appear plausible.

I hope both parties can settle their differences and they can move on and get back to work.

Instead of suing , he should just retire and enjoy his money .

If he cannot do this here in Thailand , I heard that there are villas for sale in Dubai .

he still has friend in high places and lucrative businesses like he came into the spotlight... why does he need this low paid job compared? to be above the law off course

He has the wealth to live anywhere. Instead he continues with his nonsensical insistence on appearing innocent and crying wolf, without actually saying anything.

The man is a real joke.

Very dangerous game to play when in a country where bad things can happen to just about anyone.  He may have inside information on the extent of people involved and the power they have and be navigating his course carefully to avoid being silenced.

If I was to guess, aside from the ridiculous face farce, he may have had political aspirations which are currently derailed.

If Thaksin can do it then so can I  yada yada

The big joke he’s his crooked. He’s his bent is all the others in that position from top to bottom. They’re totally corrupt anybody who’s lived here a while knows this. They really did an investigation and all the public Top official from Top the bottom and the Police wars and the governors do the different provinces they’ll be in jail. They’ll be nobody to run the government. It’s just the way they are. It’s just the way they think it is their culture Corruption top to bottom  TIT

He is the only bloke who is not corrupt, and they cannot have his kind in the force.

Getting things tossed out on procedural grounds is usually much faster (and easier) than trying to fight the criminal allegations themselves, especially if things are murky on either side. Of course, it doesn't clear your reputation, but that may not be his priority at the moment.

I think you have summed it up well, except some on this board view him as a knight in shining armour, and he isn't.

They are all as bad as each other, and as you say, he's not following the rules.

He got to a ridiculously high position in a very short space of time, that only comes with connections, money, and plenty of it.

You can't join the corrupt and then cry foul when it doesn't go your way.

Rubbish.

They've nailed a load of his underlings in the online gambling, and they can't do what they do, without his consent.

Absolutely agree with every word you have said.

Some on here are greener than apples.

They should bin the entire police force and start again, but they won't.

they don't like him do they, not sure what options he has,
