The Tim Walz thread.

Walz retired in May 2005.

Because the order to mobilize for active duty in Iraq came early in 2005. He knew months before and made sure to leave before his unit did, even though he had to forfeit his title of command sergeant major, while always lying that he'd kept it.

Unless Walz is psychic, there is no story here.

Not the least need to be psychic. Story still stands.

But he got the notice about the coming deployment early in the year, so he merely

got out in time before the actual mobilization.

You were, then you were informed, and now keep repeating your misinformation, loving it so much.

Walz attained the rank of Command Sergeant Major.

That's not good enough for you?

Your man Trump got a draft notice during Vietnam. Did he deploy?

Did Clinton? Did Biden?

After you tell me what Clinton and Biden didn't.

Clinton and Biden aren't running in this election.

All you are saying is that people who care about military service shouldn't vote for Trump, a known draft dodger.

Do you have a link to a real source for that?

It's quite well known Trump regards soldiers and POW's as suckers and losers. He didn't want to join them.

The storm in a tea cup created in trump world won't matter. trump / Vince will be defeated in November. Of course the concern is trump has already stated if he loses it will be due to fraud, even though in the two prior election he lost by millions of votes (saved by electoral college in 2016). One hopes US will carry one with minimal further damage by MAGA world this time round, 'cause right now MAGA has dragged US politics into the sewer.

Temporarily, contingent upon fulfilling the requirements. He didn't, because he bailed, so was demoted to master sergeant. Then he continued to lie that he had retired as a command sergeant major--so engaging in stolen valor.

No, stolen valor's not good enough for me. You?

Already given it a couple of times. Try to pay attention.

Tim Walz was a Command Master Sergeant. There is no debate about that.

Your quibble is that he lost the rank at retirement. I'll give you that. Not a big deal.

You are obsessed with semantics at this point. It's like saying someone didn't really climb Everest because they came back down.

He held multiple positions within field artillery such as firing battery chief, operations sergeant, first sergeant, and culminated his career serving as the command sergeant major for the battalion," Army Lt. Col. Kristen Augé, Minnesota National Guard’s State Public Affairs Officer, told Just the News in a statement Wednesday.

I am thinking Trump will be desperate if he loses, and will probably try to overturn the result with violence. Or flee, to escape justice.

Hypothetical scenario: Harris orders Trump to be arrested and detained, in the interest of public order. She has Presidential immunity to do so, thanks to Trump.

Of course, the MAGA cult would be revolting. They usually are. Trump's prediction of a blood bath would come true.

Disinformation. He was merely a temporary command master sergeant. He didn't complete the course work required to be a REAL command master sergeant, which he never was. Not at all the same thing, and NOT a quibble. He retired as master sergeant, as the Guard confirms.

Then we have his lying, which you're ignoring, 'cause you need to believe the lie.

And then we have his knowledge in advance about the coming deployment in time to bail out that you've been spreading disinformation about.

The latest hysteria spread by Biden and the fake news you've sucked up. Anything so they can get elected.

My father was given the job of Regimental Sergeant Major Class1, in 1943 he was 21, he never did any special training, he was chosen because of his schooling, when WWII ended he went straight back to his job... It was temporary, but he did his job as an RSM..So knocking someone for a temporary post, is a bit off..🤔

I still have his uniform RSM arm badge.... ☺️

No, that's what you're saying.

Some of us are old enough to remember the left spitting on the vets coming back from Viet Nam.

Clinton and Biden both draft-dodgers, but you and the left doesn't care.
