Fascist-Fascism?

Is this the same as McCarthy calling everybody communists?

Maybe those who use the term FASCIST/FASCISM should first clearly define it before using it?

But...for sure...most in America using the term cannot define it...

They just use it, like the dullards they are, or did you say "dotards"....?

Few months ago Harris scored lower than Biden in the polls, and that says something.

So how is it possible that everyone like her now?

Everyone likes her now because after 8 years of Trump the Dems see someone capable of taking the fight to Trump. The Dems (and independents) are tired of the Trump shtick...his name calling, lying, bullying, boasting, etc. There were a lot of double haters that didn't want to see a rematch of two old men. Now there is joy and excitement that the dark days of Trump may finally be ending.

She's already leading by 6% in a very reliable nationwide poll that just came out Friday. Harris is at 53% and Trump is at 47%:

47% would vote for him. It’s shocking that in spite of everything there’s still a lunatic cult following.

I tend to agree, I think Harris and Trump are both bad choices, however I will say of the four people on the ticket the only one that I like is Walz, he seems like a decent human being.

The first time I heard him speak, it hit me - that man looks quite presidential. Don't want to get ahead of ourselves of course, but I could see him winning in 2032 if he can last that long in such a toxic environment.

Rather strange then that nobody liked her less than a month ago

I'm just waiting to wake up November 6 to the sweet sounds once again:

..but not so much to when he starts egging on his quasi-religious following to riot and, to borrow a phrase from his  little disciple Nigel Farage, " take back control".

Recently he vehemently denied he ever said that about Hillary. FOR GAWD'S SAKE man, it was captured on video in front of millions of witnesses!

Biden had the good grace to bow out cuz he wasn't mentally all there. The felon should do the same and let JD take over for him.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA - I couldn't say that with a straight face!!!

In a similar fashion to Trump the UK's far right Farridge's stock has slumped after being exposed as one of the main inciters of hatred in UK.

Polls that early in the campaign have almost zero predictive value.

Amazing how a race that seemed heading towards a foregone conclusion, is now open and competitive.

This is true democracy in action. It is testament of the good health of the American institutions, after the unfortunate, shameful, January the 6th, 2020, events.

Imagine if the GOP had voted for De Santis or Haley - the race would be a lot tighter.  Trump is toast.  I can see him pulling out soon, rather than get whipped by Harris!

Let's get back to the future,

Who's going to be the Giuliani-Powell ticket for Project 2025?

- An abundance of "riches", oh I mean "rags."

Project 2025

Have you actually read it?

I am for it.

We are way past saving Organized Human Civilization from the Disruptions posed by Global Warming.

It is already far too late, and most scientists, these days, who have been doing cutting-edge research agree...

The problem is now far past finding a solution due to the inertia in the systems that will inevitably lead to 5 degrees C above baseline.

Therefore, at this time, the very best solution is to follow PROJECT 2025.

Get rid of the Craziness offered up by Harris!

At least, in the final years, we will be able to live like civilized human beings, especially as we were intended, One Nation Under God!

Yes, I now am behind Project 2025, and you better believe it.

Project 2025 is the only way to save the values that I grew up with, beginning in the 1950s.

https://www.project2025.org/policy/

My suggestion is that you begin with the Foreword, and then continue reading from there.

Read it, in full, without becoming too quick to criticize what you may not have read.

Are you drunk, or is this satire?

Project 2025 aims to stop all efforts to fight Global Warming.

Ha CAN'T pull out. He is fighting to stay out of jail which he could very well be headed if Jack Smith is EVER allowed to bring that criminal to trial. People are fond of saying, "Oh a rich person can't ever be jailed." I sincerely feel the pendulum has swung enough to the side of "Let's get this effer and lock him up!"

I know.

Believe me, I know.

And, this is my point.

It's already too late to alter our collective path to 5 degrees C about baseline within, and before, 2080.

Positive Feedback loops are already kicking in; They will be unstoppable.

Therefore, it will be best for me, and best for you, too, just to follow Project 2025.

I will...

And...

Maybe it's time for you, too, to get on board, and get with the program!

I highly doubt you had time to read it, as busy as you are drumming up tangent topics, and even if you did, you apparently don't fathom the true implications of this train wreck. To melt it down in its simplest terms, it is a plan to implement a hardline religious-right agenda throughout the entire government. Attention to climate change is a small facet of how it would personally affect every US citizen.

Maybe it's time you rethink this atrocity!

I will say this again. Isn’t this a Thailand forum? If you want to know what’s going on in foreign countries then go back

There are some who describe Project 2025 and Mein Kampf " troubling parallel".  Both outline vision that veers alarmingly towards authoritarianism, threatening the democratic fabric of respective country.

He won't pull out because he isn't trying to make America great again, he's only trying to stay out of jail. He's already confessed to Musk too (in yesterday's desperate interview) that he will do a runner to Venezuela when he loses.

He's also staying in the race just so he can make another attempt to stop the certification of the election results and again prevent the peaceful transfer of power. Hopefully this time they will be ready for him and his attempt at a second insurrection will completely fail.

Meanwhile, Conway lays out some good points about where things are at.

No, this board isn't.

Whatever Trump might be, Harris will be twice as bad.

I hate do-gooders, when they are brainless, self-serving zealots, like Harris.

For one thing, Harris does not possess anywhere near the brainpower to even attempt to improve quality of life and wellbeing for anyone, even on a small scale, much less on a large scale.

I am not afraid of the religious-right, as you call them.

What are they, anyway?

Nothing!

I will not vote for Harris. Harris gained her present position through some backroom dealing, during the past 12 months, knowing that Biden could never run.

I will not vote for anyone associated with such a GIANT SCAM.

Neither Trump nor Harris will have much impact on what happens in coming years.

Therefore, I choose not to vote for a holier-than-though huckster, like Harris.

I would rather vote for an unapologetic Trump!

Then, let the chips fall where they may.

At least, I will not feel like a victim of the Dem-Party-System...!

Thank you, Sir.

Just telling it like it really is, because...

Somebody's gotta do it.

Also, let's not forget about Nuclear Winter, and the Dr. Strangelove scenario...

If Harris, then it's less than One-Second to Midnight...

(I am doing my best to remain calm, but Harris is far more of a threat than you can ever imagine.  We are talking potential internal warfare between different so-called "racial" factions within the USA...  Put that in your pipe and smoke it, why not?  But this is not about race, and it is about deep culture divide in the USA.)

The question is how many Trumpers here will disappear *before* Election Day, since they won't want to be here when Trump loses?

Is @illisdean gone for good now that he can't post polls?

They will start again with “it was rigged” and continue the big lie. Most of the Trumpers here are just aged Orange fan boys from the UK. Sat up in “Nakhon Nowhere”  one foot in the grave bored off their mind.

They can’t vote for him, and nothing that happens in America will affect them directly. He is just a foil for their bigotry and xenophobia no Tory can’t substitute for.
