A parcel delivery man in Thailand is seeking justice after he was physically assaulted by a customer, which led to a broken arm. The attack on the worker happened in the Rayong province, situated in the eastern part of the country. The confrontation almost escalated to his pregnant wife being attacked as well.

The delivery man, 26-year-old Songphon, shared a video of the assault on a news Facebook page on August 19. The footage showed his attacker, dressed in a red shirt, striking him with a wooden stick. Songphon revealed that he was working for J&T Express Thailand and he was on his delivery route when he delivered a parcel to his attacker's residence on Sunday, August 18.

The assailant, who goes by the name Nong, reportedly shoved Songphon in his chest before hitting him in the arm with a stick. Nong even tried to attack Songphon's wife, who was filming the incident on her phone. As a result of the assault, Songphon suffered a broken arm which required surgery.

According to Songphon, Nong seemed to be drunk during the attack. The video footage also showed Nong yelling insults at Songphon and boasting about his connections to the local police.

During his interview with Channel 3, Songphon gave further details about the incident. He explained that he had delivered a cash-on-delivery parcel to Nong's residence. However, 75-year-old Kritsana, Nong's aunt, refused to accept the package, arguing that the addressee didn't live at the location. Nong then got involved in the discussion which eventually led to the argument and assault captured in the video.

In her interview with the press, Kritsana insisted that Songphon instigated the fight as he was upset that the parcel was not accepted. Meanwhile, Songphon's 21-year-old wife has stated that they plan to press charges as her husband sustained severe injuries from the incident.

The couple has filed a complaint with the Phe Police Station. Officers from the station have planned to call in both parties for an inquiry once Songphon's health condition improves.
