In a coordinated effort to assist flood victims, the Disaster Response Association of Thailand (DRAT) has partnered with Sistronics Co., Ltd. and NAC Drone Co., Ltd. to deploy a specialised.  team of volunteers and drone pilots. The team utilised the large DJI FlyCart 30 transport drones, provided by DJI Delivery, to deliver essential supplies, including water, food, and other necessities, to those stranded by the rising floodwaters.

The DJI FlyCart 30 drones, equipped with a winch system, enabled the precise delivery of supplies without the need for landing. The drones’ automatic release mechanism ensured that the supplies were safely lowered and detached upon reaching the ground, allowing for efficient and effective aid distribution in areas cut off or difficult to access by conventional means.

This collaboration highlights the innovative use of technology in disaster response, ensuring that help reaches those in need swiftly and safely. The operation focused on close-range deliveries, demonstrating the effectiveness of drone technology in overcoming challenges posed by natural disasters.
