Early voting begins shortly!Hopefully

Older Brother walz will share his experiences .

And that will prove what exactly?

That he doesn't agree with his brother.

IIRC the older brother is not standing for election.

Lame article. Two brothers don't get along. Older brother gives no specifics about why is brother is bad but older brother donated to Trump. Older brother no angel - found guilty of shoplifting in 200

  • Older brothers usually have a good Idea about their kid brother's character!   In the grand scheme of political fodder, Walz is still in the infantile stage imop   @maesariang

And yet the voters of  the state disagree with you. Despite your claims, he did win a Republican district when he defeated Republican Gil Gutknecht, a six-term incumbent. He was elected multiple times and served from 2007 to 2019.  When he ran for Governor he was elected twice defeating his Republican rivals. He can't be that unpopular if he has a consistent winning record.

MN is a welfare state, the Dems will control the state forever

If this is the best that the Trump collective can come up with, they will need to  consider something more convincing and substantive. You know, stuff like policy and how exactly they intend to fix the many problems they say are not their doing.

How about your Dems showing everyone how they are going to fix all the problems they have created.

By spending money. When it fails blame Trump for the 1000th time. Sad anyone would vote for such people.

Context is needed. A large portion of that "welfare" spending is on health and education. Yes, it is one of the top  spenders on its people. In comparison,  Alaska which has higher welfare spending, is a right wing  Republican state. It survives off of Federal welfare spending, much of which is paid for by tax revenues from successful Democrat states like California and New York. Using your logic, one could say that Alaska is a welfare state, the Republicans will control the state forever.

The reality is that Minnesota ranks high among the states in the quality of health and welfare services. It is known for its high standard of general medical services, its extensive children’s health and welfare programs,  and care for the elderly. People living below the poverty level are about 10% of the population compared to 11.5% for the nation.  Republican states like Mississippi are close to 20%, and Louisiana is 18%+. In fact , Republican states are more likely to have lower living standards and more impoverished people as part of their population. The reality is that Minnesotans for the most part have a decent quality of life. The cost of living there is significantly higher than in Republican states, because of the climate. The cold weather requires  extensive heating for  much of the year, better quality  dwellings and infrastructure that can resist the cold and freeze and thaw cycles. A large part of welfare spending is to ensure that people can heat their homes and that children can have a hot meal. Not such a bad thing.

Indeed, when Walz took office as governor of Minnesota in 2019, 59.2% of Minnesota students were proficient in reading and 55% were proficient in math. Four years later, in 2023, those numbers fell to 49.9% and 45.5%, respectively. Over that same time period under Walz, Minnesota’s chronic absenteeism rate more than doubled, from 14% to 30%. In 2018, before Walz took office, Minnesota’s schools were ranked 5th in the nation; five years later, in 2024, they are ranked 17th.

It's known for its soft on crime policies, I don't need a lecture from someone who probably has never lived there. Go find another soapbox too jump up on.

Fair point. Me neither. I would just look at his record which is terrible.

When you have no response, just simply insult the poster, instead of staying on topic or ignoring the post.

Irrelevant? A deputy head teacher pleading guilty to robbing a Walmart store, and somehow keeping his job? Depends if you are judging character.

Plus the Queen of Scoops never tracked down the older sister.

So Walz has a familiy member he doesn't see eye to eye with. Trumpf has a few, such as his nephew, which came about after Donald wished his grand-nephew to die, and his niece who called Uncle Donald a sociopath who should be banned from office. RFK, has family members disagree with him, though I see on this forum some thinking its more important that there are family members who apparently support him. Maybe all those opinions should be dismissed. As the opinions of Hamel-Vance's sister, Lindsay, and his older drug addict brother, Travis, plus the 10-ish other siblings out there (Hamel doesn't know how many). The Public demands details of when JD and Travis went on a bender and wrecked a car. And did JD inhale?

WTF is Laura Loomer. Remarkably MTG has called her "mentally unstable and a documented liar". That's going some within MAGA. She has described herself as a "proud Islamophobe" and a "pro-white nationalis(t)". She claimed to be going out with some bloke called Tim Gionet (another MAGA supporter), who meanwhile was posting pictures of his girlfriend journalist being executed in a gas chamber. She downplayed COVID-19, saying its no worse than food poisoning. Then she actually got COVID-19 and asked her social media followers to pray for her.

Not at all. The dumb posters are the ones who can't accept the facts, statistics, and data I post, and post their cockeyed beliefs in countervailing argument.

A dumb poster is one who uses personal insults in lieu of genuine debate. How's that going for you?

Then how come most of your posts contain no facts? Mostly just insults.

Given in other posts you state you are a neutral, not particularly supporting the other lot, could you apply your sleuthing skills to work out with business JD and his brother smashed up?

I assuming you are spending hours and hours of research on this, and not actually being fed the sources by a third party.

And dig in to why JD was investing in fetal stem cell research, which seems at odds with his Pro-Life viewpoints.

Sibling rivalry  is a well-known phenomenon, very common in families with more than one child.  Most frequent in the 10-15 age group, when one or both are dealing with puberty. Some people reconcile, others never resolve the conflict

To me, this whole thread is a nothing burger. Truth bomb? More like a damp squib.
