Which is the best and easiest to use Internet-Banking Bank in Thailand?

Recommended Posts

Which is the best.

I have tried to use one bank's application, but found it quite difficult.

No point in naming the bank.

But, which banks in Thailand make internet banking easiest?

Let us say that one might not wish to use internet banking via a Phone App.

Then, which might be best if one were using a PC?

Any good ideas based on several years of experience?

Just asking....

Tks.

Internet banking, I assume you mean bank apps. I have login and password for website but no long use these sites.

If in Thailand use an app

I've got kasikorn and Bangkok bank apps.

I find kasikorn more user friendly.

I can still screen shot from kasikorn, bbl stopped that months ago.

Large Transfers with bbl have annoying face recognition.

Definitely not SCB or KTB in answer to his question, then, since both these banks have pulled the plug on internet banking. Bangkok Bank's facility does the job pretty well in my experience, although I don't know how it compares to Kasikorn's, Krungsri's, etc. And, as alluded to by @anyone, opening an account with Bangkok Bank in particular might prove easier said than done these days.

Banks in Thailand are progressively phasing out PC use as they have to make the banking as hack proof as possible and PCs specially windows but even Mac’s are not immune. The end result is that they are focused on mobile devices as they have a greater pool of developers and are in general more secure, so it’s going to be case of which banks wish to split their resources and for how long.

Did you read the topic title?

I did, thank you very much. So what is your point then? Do you really seriously believe that anyone on here has actually opened accounts with each and every Thai bank with the sole purpose of comparing their respective internet banking services?

Most of them have cancelled their Internet Banking citing " security reasons "

I am aware of only Kasikorn and Krungsri, who are still offering Internet Banking.

I would recommend Krungsri Bank aka Yellow bank.

Not at all unlikely...I have accounts with Bangkok Bank, KTB, UOB, Krungsri and Kasikorn and have compared their internet banking facilities, those that still offer online banking are all as good as each other.  KTB has withdrawn its online personal banking service.

As OJAS said, the Thai banks, seem to be turning away from online banking on computers to more phone banking.

To be honest, IMHO, with all your recent posts about doing away with a mobile phone and doing it all on computer...I really think that to make life easier for yourself, you should do a bit more research on phone models, find one that suits your needs, bite the bullet, and buy one.

As i said. Just my opinion.

Is it such a big bloody deal?

I've been using internet banking with kasikorn bank, as the title says since 2008.

Which is the best and easiest to use Internet-Banking Bank in Thailand?

Some here have some serious problems.

Some of them have, not most.  BBL, UOB, haven't.

"Most of them have cancelled their Internet Banking citing "security reasons".

Which banks have actually said that is the reason?

OP - you are going to extreme lengths to avoid the use of a smart phone, however, with the manner in which you wish to communicate and bank you are creating additional inconvenience.

A number of Thai Banks have moved away from Internet Banking due to the insistance of the Bank of Thailand to utilise the NDID (National Digital ID system) - i.e. SCB, KTB

Thus:  Perhaps other members can state if they have functional...

- Bangkok Bank Internet Banking

- Kasikorn Internert Banking

NOT mBanking on a smart phone through an App, but logging in through an internet WebPage on the computer (some posters are struggling with this specific aspect of the discussion).

The comment I made was to the OP, now I'm getting attacked needlessly by bored lonely people.

I find it really weird how people here purposely interact with other members in a hostile way.
You and a few others here do it often.
You people can't scroll past a comment you don't agree with or find difficult to understand.

I don't do it, I'll make comment to the OP on different threads but I keep scrolling rather than anoy others by making hostile comments.

Some people get off on annoying others, it's like being back at school.

You're trying to back-peddle !!.. You misunderstood the Op and gave advice about Apps on a Smart Phone...   then defended your mistake, perhaps because you didn't get teh difference between Internet and Mobile Banking.

You've been corrected a number times

A mistake is simply a mistake, Its not an issue, its just mistake, but doubling down on your silliness, is well, silly !!!...

Why not? Those us with that bank would know not to recommend it to you.

Maybe post a YouTube video from that bank?

I use Bangkok, the Mrs. uses K and SCB. SCB seems the most effective but they all work. In the end, you will like the app you know best.

SCB no longer has internet Banking....      (you might be thinking of Mobile Banking / mBanking on an App on your phone).

True, the SCB phone app is good.

I just logged into Bangkok on the computer, it still works but I mostly use the phone.
