 People have been brain washed into thinking Olive oil is a good cooking oil......Its not....

 

Lard or Rice Bran oil  are Vastly better...

Although I don't have a Makro near me in Bangkok, I bring olive oil from the UK each year. Much, much better value than Villa market. 

Il Casolare now £14-£16 per litre in the UK. Still cheaper, and better than Thailand. Few other quality "extra virgin" at reasonable prices in Thailand...
