We are here to talk about important medical subjects.

Thankyou anyway

You mean like you can catch a UTI just from standing near, or talking to someone.

Urinary tract infection..... I didn't know males could get this.

Well I can tell you from personal experience that we can. No sex need to be involved.

A couple of days anti-Bs can get rid.

Why did you not Google UTI in normal, heterosexual men?

An enlarged prostate can cause it quite easily. I know, I've been there.

70% of infections are caused by E Coli ...and most antibiotics are useless.

Obviously see a doctor....but if you are panicking taking MONUROL...it is amazingly effective. One sachet or two will do the trick....it tastes nice as well.

UTIs aren’t contagious, so you wouldn’t have caught it from your colleague. They usually happen when bacteria gets into your urinary tract—pretty common. Treatment is usually just antibiotics after your GP confirms it’s a UTI. I've had one before, and it’s uncomfortable but clears up fast with the meds. As for bladder cancer, no need to stress about that from just a UTI. I’d still bring it up with your GP if you’re worried, though.
