PALANG PRACHARATH LEADER Prawit Wongsuwan has today (Oct. 1) resolved to no longer accept the salary and entitlement pay to which he is eligible as an MP and to return all the money which he has earlier accepted.

Prawit, the only party-listed MP of the second largest opposition party who has admitted having taken leave from parliament many times has remarkably decided to not accept the salary and entitlement pay any longer and to return the whole sum of money which he has already accepted monthly from the House of Representatives since last year, confirmed Palang Pracharath secretary-general Paiboon Nititawan.

Prawit will not only decline to accept the salary and entitlement pay throughout the current legislative term but until his MP status is legally terminated, Paiboon said.
