Does changing address affect 90 day report date ?

Featured Replies

If you report a new address to Immigration, would that reset the 90 days or is it still the same as before ? It is nearly 90 days from my last report and I have not received the usual email reminder. I changed my address about a month after that last report so just wondering if it has been reset or if there has been a glitch in the system ? I have checked the junk folder of my email and nothing there.

no it won't reset the 90 day reporting unless you left and re-entered the country.

have you done a new tm30, will be required to do a 90 day report at a different office, why do you need an email reminder, 90 days is 90days

yes, did a new TM30 but same office. And the email reminder has always been an automatic part of the system when you do it online...up till now.

After changing address and filing a new TM30, you may be required to file the first 90 day in person.

If you're within the window, try reporting online anyway, but my guess is it will be rejected.
