YES, Mac mini 2 Pro, at the moment the best there is, highly recommandable.

One year ago i bought this one, and one month ago on my holliday trip to europe I took it with me.

Then I got the idea to sell it there, and in no time it was sold.

Now I'm back and bought a new one here.

I got the Beelink as in the op about 18 months ago and its worked flawlessly ever since. Use it almost every day as a second support PC to watch mostly media stuff. It runs very fast, cool and was excellent value for money under 6000THB with legit Win11 Pro installed. Need to add screen, speaker, mouse and keyboard etc extra.

Yah, I got a mini pc. I run an android box for, ermm, internet videos, and the mini pic for VPN routed home country tv. Works great.

 

No problems at all. Just need a good wireless keyboard.

I've been using an Intel NUC Skull Canyon (mini computer) since 2017,...I'm using it now to write this post.  Intel marketed the Skull Canyon as an ultra-portable desktop for the gaming crowd; lots of opinions on both sides about this mini being fast enough to qualify as an acceptable gaming machine.  I'm not a gamer myself, I use it as my every-day computer for surfing the net, watching videos, and running CAD apps.  All-in-all a very capable computer.

 

I also use a Minix Neo (which came with W-10 installed) as an entertainment device; my wife mostly uses it to watch YouTube videos, various movies, and TV shows in super Hi Def (2160p).  This Mini does a great job at these tasks, but it has very limited memory, and I would not recommend it as a desk-top replacement.

Mini computers are fine for basic tasks like browsing the internet.

I work on my (fast and good) notebook if I am traveling or visit a client. But at home I prefer the "big" setup.

 

And depending on the work, two monitors make life much better.

As far as I remember, all Intel NUC support two monitors.

I need 4 monitors.

 

Also, when I think about these small mini computers, I always first think RASBERRY PI.

 

And, no doubt you recall the Apple Power Cube, put out about 25 years ago?

I always liked the idea of that.

And, I had a friend who was a graphics designer who relied on one for his business.

 

I really like the idea of this power cube, or something that fits in a cube.

 

I think it would be really good for someone who travels, and wants to set up a personal computer system in a hotel, or some other place, for a few weeks....before moving on again to a new temporary place.
