there were 3 or 4 different nationalities taken hostage in the iranian embassy siege, the rescue of the hostages was absolutely not dependent on their nationality.

Thai workers departed left following  the October massacre. A small number returned in June at the request of the Thai workers, because the wages and working conditions are better than in Thailand. Thai workers earn 8-10X more in Israel than in Thailand.

Some of the complaints come from groups who have a vested interest in lodging these complaints, i.e. Labour and social activist groups in Israel. others are politically motivated These complaints mirror those seen in the EU and Canada/USA. No one with an IQ above room temperature could possibly believe that abducting Thais at gun point and holding them hostage for 50 days in dimly lit tunnels is not a form of torture.  If you look at a version of the pic below without the blurring, you'll immediately see the terror in the captives' faces.  They have their hands tied behind them and a masked terrorist is pointing an AK-47 at them with his finger on the trigger.
