Where can you sell things online in Thailand

Featured Replies

Where can you sell thing online in Thailand on a site that supports English language?  If the site is specific to musical instruments, even better.

Depends what you want to sell.

DM me with your details, I'll get back to you with a DARK WEB link, the underground internet. Only joking 😂

Be more specific mate, what do you want to sell?

Oki Doki. Any one specific to music instruments are hard to find. What you have is:

Facebook marketplace is the best

Look on Facebook for interest groups or as suggested use their "marketplace" .

Yeah, Facebook marketplace is huge, and could be good. But, unfortunately there is too much scams there today as well as leads trying to get sellers into malware and phishing groups to continue the chat. I have totally stopped using it, as it´s creating more problem and danger than it´s worth.

You are over playing it, he is selling remember, it's the sellers who are potential scammers, so doesn't apply to him

Did you read that I posted that they also trick seller into groups to talk more with dangerous links? That´s how it is. Facebook is no longer a place to recommend. Terribly bad security for their users.

Here is another issue I've thought about that I'm not sure how to resolve.

I believe that places like Ebay will hold payment in escrow and an intermediary until a buyer receives and accepts the goods.
If you're selling online, the receipt of funds and the receipt of good is pretty much done on a handshake if you are not actually performing the final transaction in person.  Given all the scams and scammers it's an issue that I'm not sure how to resolve.

"If the site is specific to musical instruments, even better."

This might give you a clue

There is a music shop on the Sukhumvit buying and selling musical instruments.

They buy certain musical instruments, not the larger (pianos etc) or unusual instruments but the OP would not be more specific so I did not mention it, he just re sent original, highlighting it, probably too lazy.

What's your point?

Or you just being a nuisance?

There are 10+ Facebook groups in BKK to buy/sell used items.

There are also groups specifically for musical instruments. I have sold guitar, amp, etc on such groups.

Just search groups in FB, join them, and post.

Facebook often has local groups for selling and buying. In my area many foreigners post on English language and numerous musical instruments are traded.

How did you exchange money or did you do it in person?

Facebook marketing is good, IF you pay for the extra services, otherwise no one will see it. It usually runs a hundred baht a day or so. They did try to charge me again a month after my ad expired though. So watch for that. I paid for a guitar ad, and got a few replies in a few days. When it expired as a paid ad, not one call for two months.

Bahtsold is good. The best are FB groups related to the instrument.
