Certificate of residence from Changwattana

Recommended Posts

Hi

I posted a few weeks back and got some good advice.  I will be going Changwattana next week for my Annual Retirement Visa extension.

I will also be getting a Certificate of residence from Changwattana.

Do I need to provide a copy of my Rental Agreement for the Certificate.

or maybe a better-phrased question is - What documents will they ask for for the Certificate?

Thanks

Previously at CW you required a TM47 however as Tod pointed out in above thread link that has been dropped.

However if you have a TM47 then provide it.

Hare is cut and paste from @rodgerdodgerwho obtained one very recently.

"I provided the completed application form, TM30 print out, and copy of passport biodata page, visa page (I have a Thai Elite Visa, others may not have a visa) and passport page showing latest entry stamp.  All pages signed by me in blue ink as requested by the IO.  Handed over 200 ฿ to IO and was given a Thai Post reference number and told to expect CoR in post in one week.  That was it"

What are you needing the COR for?

COR will be mailed out and takes about a week

@DrJack54  Is this done at the 90-Day reporting desks or .....      How long did you have to wait to get served?   I will be doing my Annual Retirement renewal and then a Re-Entry Permit, both booked via online.

Obviously you have appointment link.

Here it is just in case.

https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/

When I obtained my COR at CW, I made appointment for TM47 report and had the application for both the 90 day report and COR on hand.

Go to far right io at que desk.

I was given a ticket with desk #.

The io did the 90 report first. Then photocopied the TM47 approval print out and proceeded with the COR.

I note the the appointment link above now includes  "Letter of Residence" (first option). It shows fee 0 baht, however there is process fee (mail etc) 200b.

It's posted out and takes about 1 week

@DrJack54  yeah this option seems to be very new.  Too late for the 15th so I will have to get a queue number for this

Use this link to download form for COR.

The desk issuing que tick often wish to see this prior to giving you ticket.
