I'm thinking your problem is really the inability to comprehend what's written, and a desire to twist things around to feed your ego. You did this in other topis, thinking you're a pizza expert because you had pizza in Italy, and I only said that NYC pizza was SOME of the best worldwide, which it is. You troll, just to argue, not understanding you aren't doing anything besides assuming, because with what little information you are receiving from us, you again, form your own conclusion without knowing or understanding the facts. My relationships are real, and most of them have been. Some ,like my ex here, were transactional, even though there was attraction on both sides. I could say your girlfriend is a concubine, but I'm not that dense, thinking I actually know what's going on in your life from just a few words typed on a forum. You're missing the point of all of this. Not all relationships are transactional, even here. Most here probably are, but again, unlike you, I don't assume. -

You're assuming each and every Thai has family ties which would enable the borrowing of a scooter within 5 seconds. Statistically, that's nonsense. AFAIK most of the people using tuktuks and songtaews are Thai. You think those vehicles are solely for foreigners? Happy you are amused, You've reminded me of the small minds aphorism. The argument attempting to nullify the value of 'confiscation of a vehicle' as a penalty is also flawed from a 'basic human' perspective... If someone gets their scooter confiscated, whether they have use of alternative means of transport or not, the confiscation itself is a massive inconvenience and annoyance which is the objective of such actions to stimulate preventative measures. -

I've run into competency issues before but never attitude problems like this guy. I once had Opthamologist cancel my appointment with her via the nurse, because according to the nurse, she wasn't comfortable treating foreigners. Odd behaviour for someone who, according to her bio, spent 5 years in Australia. It turned out she was the bestie of another ophthalmologist I had consulted with previously and whose opinion I wanted seconded. -
