Kamala Harris Just Got Some Great News
'Vice President Kamala Harris may have better odds in the presidential election than previously predicted. A poll published Monday by the Associated Press and the National Opinion Research Center at the University of Chicago suggests that Harris has more than a marginal lead in favorability over the Republican presidential nominee, but is actually surging by double digits.' How is Halloween celebrated in Thailand?
Halloween is a fun opportunity for people to gather around and do things other than going to bars. Watch horror movies, for example, something Thais are good at producing. Back before covid, when I was still teaching some university classes part-time, you could see students walking around campus in costumes. And if Lotus and others use it for commercial advantage? Okay, they make the stores colorful for a few days, as they do at Christmas and Chinese New Year. I always enjoy that. They may even put a few holiday related foods on sale. Even in Thailand, Halloween can be a seasonal gateway to cooler days, crisper mornings, and clear skies. I'm happy to see Thailand celebrate it. -

Wall street very convinced ,its gonna be Trump
I agree with all of that; but I find so many non-Americans hell bent on cheering the decline of the United States and gravitation toward the Democrat plan of a socialist/Marxist/communist/fascist/Nazi state. Under Biden/Harris, federal agencies have become the Stasi. -

Seeking “hole in the wall” restaurants in CM for home-style farang food
I want to support small, independent, restaurants around here, especially those serving farang food (especially those with American food and/or Full English you-know-what), so I've decided to put more effort into this thread. I have no personal connection with any of these places. Here's more about Bake and Bite, a restaurant I personally enjoyed many times when it was in Nimmanhaemin Road. And the current location -- according to TripAdvisor -- although I have not yet been there: Any errors, corrections quickly please. -

Robert Jenrick Calls for Whole Life Sentences for Grooming Gangs
There have been protests against the lenient sentences given to predominantly Muslim grooming gangs guilty of molesting children in the UK. These sex offenders demand a high moral standard from their own daughters but think nothing of abusing ours. -

Thailand Urged to Tackle Foreign Influence in Tourism Business
Idiots in charge. A frantic push for Chinese and Russians (also Indians) to come to Thailand like a Tsunami. And heck what happens? They bring their vile culture of bribery with them. Its normal business where they come from and so to bribe in Thailand is second nature. Thailand....you reap what you sow. Som nom na.
