Now that we are older: Does Eric Burdon resonate with us even more forcefully?

Recommended Posts

Dear Older Ones:

Now that we are older, does Eric Burdon resonate with most of us even more forcefully than ever before?

And, I say:  Ave Eric, moriture te salutant (Hail, Eric, those who are about to die salute you!)

Seems to me that Eric presently speaks to us with even more authority, now that we are older.

Would you not say so?

If not...Then....Why not?

Regards,

Gamma

NOTE:  She was brown.  And, i was pretty green....(directly quoting Eric)

One should always try to go further, when one is young.

And, if a physicist, then never stop going further, even when old.

If not a physicist, then one's bones just get worn down....

So then, might as well stop.

Did Einstein actually work at his desk in Princeton until his dying day?

He tried to go further, some say, every day of his life.

Ken Kesey was no Einstein...

IMHO

Although, I am sure Ken thought he was.

Yet, he never got half as far as Einstein.

Instead...turns out.....

Kesey was just another NUTCASE.....

He actually never did get that far.....

Except....

In his own mind.

Boomers need to chill.

Your gen were sold a lot of lies.  Possibly everything you think you 'know'.

Merry Pranksters & Leary were CIA.

Einstein was a fraud / fake too.

Stephen Hawking also.

However, trying to explain this (or anything else for that matter)  to a boomer is p***ing in the wind.

If you're genuinely smart and can do the work the penny will drop.

If not, no problem, soon all dead anyway.

Take your mind out of the gutter and DYOR
