Oh leave him alone ,"Nownow or whatever his posting name(s) are loves to be here rather than sit by himself in a 21sqm box in Pattaya

He is a great man who should of been a Professor

I'd like him to have an appropriate board name like Bubble Boy, he reminds me of that character in Seinfeld

Frustration comes from not accepting 'what is'. 50 is a difficult age, you aren't old but neither are you young and depending on your genetic make-up and life style choices the first harbingers of old age appear, this can come as a shock if you have lived a hedonistic life with little to no introspection. Later when old age sets in you either become bitter and fearful or accept the new era you are in with all its advantages and disadvantages. This should be a time of detachment from unimportant things and spiritual growth, a philosophical approach to your physical decline with humour helps, you are free from the mundane aspects of life.

Many people "don't get" the humour angle, so be careful who you use that with.

I hear ya. NZ is a place I still plan to visit one day. I almost made it last year, but shifted the travel plans elsewhere instead. Are you on the north or south isle?

Hire a camper van and tour the south island. It's far more scenic than the north island. Unless you go on an organised tour the accommodation prices will scare you, so a camper van is the way to go. You need transport anyway as public transport is a very bad joke in NZ.

I had planned to go to the South Island for the reasons you mentioned. My most desired destination was Queenstown, but after doing some more research, it seemed like it would be too remote, with too few options for access to food and accommodations. I didn't really want to do any driving. In fact, I wanted to be in a place where I could mainly walk and maybe rely on a bit of public transport when needed. So in the end, I made a compromise and booked a place in the city center of Christchurch. The cost was less of an issue for me, and I managed to get a really nice serviced apartment booked. What caused me to cancel it at the last moment was the fact that I mainly wanted to be able to go out on a daily basis and just do some walking in nature and be in some lush forest environments. Then I started watching blogs of people on YouTube who went to Christchurch, and I realized that a lot of the scenery there wasn't so scenic, especially the nature parts. To me, it looked a lot like dry, scrub brush, a bit similar to how I remembered Denver when I visited there a number of decades ago. So that's what pulled me back and got me to cancel my plans for that moment. There must be a way to go to the South Island and see some of that beautiful natural beauty and do some amazing walking without having to deal with big transportation problems, but I haven't spent more time yet thinking about it or working out how to approach it in the best way.

I did in the 80s when we still had a train service.

I'd take a train to Invercargill or the west coast, hire a car and drive up to Christchurch by the back roads stopping overnight. Did that 3 times by different routes and wasn't expensive. I went skiing in Queenstown a few times and it wasn't the abomination it has become back then.

You have to get off the plains and into the mountains for the scenery, and you have to have your own transport to do that.

Queenstown is a big tourist town with loads of places to stay and restaurants etc. It's too expensive though.

Wrong country for that. Sounds like you should go on organised tours with transport included. I don't know if they have tourist vans to get around that go between youth hostels and you book a seat. They had vans like that in Ireland. I suggest you use google to find out, but a camper van is the best option and very popular.

"Sure, it’s enjoyable and exciting, but my body just isn’t playing along the way it used to."

Not much anyone can do about it. Nobody stays on top forever. Remedy's are mostly a waste of time & money.

Getting the brain engaged is important. A few hobbies and women won't seem so important.

When you have other interests not only will women/men be less important, but you will in fact attract sexual partners easier and more often.

Guys who are chasing and taking stuff like TRT are probably having sex less often then guys who are satisfied with themselves (assuming they are not just using prostitutes). Also, guys who are satisfied with how things are, are probably less prone to experience erection issues as well.

I get an erection throughout the night, is that a problem?
