In a true democracy, maybe people could just vote on every issue directly from their smartphones.

The closest thing to that in the U.S. are state ballot referendums.

If you want something different, you can try to start a movement for a constitutional amendment.

I haven't really noticed here doing much cackling as she ascends to the presidency, but if you're that disgusted by a woman president who expresses herself sometimes, just read the print version of news and you'll be sorted. We all have our quirks. Putin's tool Tucker Carlson's "laughs" sound to me as if they are coming from the depths of hell.
