I won't drink water without lime or lemon in it.

I like water on its own or with a slice of lemon, squeezed then i eat it.

What's better lime or lemon?

I prefer lemon. I find lemons last much longer in the fridge than do limes. Limes get hard and are dangerous to cut.

What is it with all the repetitive thread spammers having usernames starting with G?

Desperate benefactors or employees at the pathetic news company running it. Same they can't even properly configure this open source forum software with normal ads, instead they spam you to the max, which in reality costs them ad income. Thai style, stick your head in the sand and ask more.

Putting lemon in water is very helpful for producing rotten teeth.

This is why I love lemon in my water.

Why does this happen?

Teeth are negatively affected by an acidic environment inside the mouth, one might imagine.

For example, eating sugar causes the formation of acid due to the bacteria in the mouth.

I am just guessing here.

You can google it if you want.

Similarly, we know that lemon juice is a strong acid.

And, we know that the teeth are susceptible to decay caused by acid.

Of course, if one has lost all one's teeth, then maybe lemon in water, or just straight lemon juice, would be fine, and maybe even beneficial.

you are right. you can use baking soda to neutralize acidicity in the mouth. i wish i would have know that years ago.

and lemons may help prevent kidney stones? not sure though. dont quote me on that.

What is the benefit?

benefit of what? baking soda?

not sure if it's good to brush daily with baking soda as it may be abrasive?

I just put it in my mouth and mix it with saliva once in a while, especially if you put sth acidic like lemon juice on your teeth.

it makes the PH in your mouth more alkaline, I think.

plaque acids can weaken and erode your enamel. No other ingredient neutralizes those harmful plaque acids better than baking soda
