A 68-year-old farmer lost his life after falling into a fertiliser spreader on October 30. The incident occurred as the farmer climbed onto the machine to clear blockages, while preparing the soil for cassava planting in Nong Mai Phai Subdistrict, Nong Bunnak District, Nakhon Ratchasima.

Police Lieutenant Boonsong Wang-Aep-Klang from Nong Bunnak Police Station responded to the distress call alongside emergency medical services from Laem Thong Municipality and the Sawang Metta Thammasathan Foundation.

At the scene, responders found the farmer’s body trapped in the rear of a tractor-mounted chicken manure spreader, with fertiliser and soil accumulating around him. He was unresponsive to rescuers, as shocked villagers gathered nearby. The rescue team used hydraulic equipment to remove the trapped body very carefully, but he was pronounced dead, after suffering multiple injuries.

Local villagers reported that the farmer, a well-known figure in the area, had been using his tractor to spread manure to prepare the soil. Heavy rain the previous day had made the soil and fertiliser moist, causing clumps to form and clog the machine.

While attempting to dislodge the obstruction with a stick as the machinery was still in operation,, the farmer slipped, falling into the grinding mechanism. His body was transported to a local hospital, where authorities will conduct further investigations and proceed with necessary legal actions.

If he didn't turn-off the machine drive then he got what he deserved.

Just saying it straight...

Truth hurts... turn off the machine before you climb into it.

Poor people who had to rescue him and see this accident.

No doubt they all just looked and commented that he deserved it like our resident brave man keyboard basher does anonymously. Sick sick man.
