Will the world end if either Trump or Harris is elected on Nov. 5th?

Dear Citizens,

Will the election of Trump or Harris be a disaster for the USA, and the rest of the world?

50-percent of the USA believes the world will end if Trump is elected.

50-percent of the USA believes the world will end if Harris is elected.

Therefore, 100-percent of the USA believes that the world will end on November 5th, 2024.

Are you prepared for the end of the world?

I thought not.

At least, most of you are not prepared....most obviously, since each of you believes that the other guy/gal will win.

I am prepared for both eventualities.

I know that one or the other will be elected, come rain or come shine.

Therefore, I have prepared.

I am not a prepper, but I am also not a fool, as you know.

I have cases and cases of tuna, for example, together with kilograms and kilograms of rice.

All prepared for tomorrow.

I have no guns, because....

This is not America.

So then, do you believe the world will end on November 5th?

And, have you made any sensible preparations for this event?

In my view, tomorrow will be even WORSE than what we experienced during the Y2K cataclysm....

Far worse, judging by the looks of it.

Hope you are prepared....

But.....

Are you??????

Best regards,

Gamma

Note4:  I do not fear November 5th; I have already lived a very full life.

But, have you?

NOTE2:  If one or either (or more likely BOTH) of the following choices is elected Prez of the USA, and Leader of the Free World...then.....are we doomed?

It's all about Russia. Nothing else really, for me. I suspect most of the world feel the same way. If Trump wins he pulls 100k troops from Europe and cuts all aid to Ukraine. That's what he means by ending the war in 24 hours. He can't of course, he thinks Europe are going to do kowtow to his amazing intellectual ability rather than call in their US ambassadors or expel them.

I don't think the outcome in the middle east is anywhere near as dependent upon who wins as the Russia question.

Vote Trump if you want Putin to win. Simple as that.

Trump is on record as soliciting $1 billion from the fossil fuel industry in return for no regulation.

The world might not end, but it will be a damn sight hotter.

Hurricanes Helene and Milton will be mild summer breezes compared to what's waiting in the wings.

Let's do Voter ID then in all states, like Trump says!!

Why don't the Democrats want that??! LOL.

They actually support it.

A driver license can be used as voter ID.

Walz proposed a law that illegals could get a driver license. I think the law actually is in force in the state he governs, but not sure about that

Who do you think is cheating??!

I think the democratic party is pro DEMOCRACY.

I think the maga fascist cult (currently labelled republicans) is pro AUTOCRACY.

If Trump wins. we're looking at at least as bad as Orban and could be much worse towards Putin.

What that means is that this is not even close to a normal election.

Choose to keep the American democracy going (but still struggling) or choose DICTATORSHIP and the end of real elections.

Of course there will be show elections but of course meaningless.

Why the hell do we have to put up with all this self centered American politics bull<deleted> in the Pub thread. There's a political soapbox thread for a reason.

Every day OP starts a new political thread in the pub and every day he's allowed to do it. Why?

OP is starting to make me really dislike Americans

What I worry about even more than the end of the world is the loss, for all time, of the Thanksgiving celebration.

After Nov 5th, we will no longer have anything to celebrate, except celebration itself.

Our Thanksgivings, even if we had one, would remain without purpose.

First we lost the The Chicago Redskins...

And, on November 5th, according to everyone, seemingly, is that...

Next, we are now about to lose our DEMOCRACY.....

Too.

It's all just too much when these things happen in the same century, or within less than 100 years.

And, nobody fights back...

Which means we are doomed.

First we lose our Redskins.

Next, there goes Democracy, too!

Oh boo hoo, sad to be an American that no-one else in the World cares about. You're all so fat you could probably do without thanksgiving dinners for a few years anyway.

Unfortunately, America is a very difficult thing to escape.

I have been trying to escape American news for over 40 years.

American culture is just too strong for me.

I’ve got the perfect solution for you. Close all your windows, lock all your doors, close all of your window coverings and turn off all your lights, fans and air conditioners. It’s blackout time. Then hide under your bed, eat your rice and tuna if you get hungry, bring a cup and a bag in case you need to use the toilet, and I’ll call you when it’s safe to come out. And don’t panic if you don’t hear from me right away because this could take some time. Weeks, possibly even months. But I promise to call you as soon as it’s all clear. You can count on me. I’ve got this.

So post your political rubbish in the political soapbox thread where it belongs so at least we in the pub don't have to see it. No wonder you can't escape American culture when you're happy to ram it down everyone's throat daily.  Newsflash, we don't care what America does

If Trump wins there will no longer be real elections.

Interestingly enough, Musk just said the SAME THING after you uttered this utterance.

Musk stated at his first political rally in PA that due to immigration policies of Harris, fair or undistorted elections would become impossible in the future.

Although I am paraphrasing here, this is basically what he stated at that rally, and anyone can watch it, so no need to post a link here, which I find boring, since the end of the world is nigh.

Still, it should be obvious that Americans citizens are beginning to sound like a bunch of cry babies.

All this mess, and the resulting End Of The World, on Nov 5th, is the fault of the Americans, and their election.

Nobody seems to be listening....

No problem.

I have kilograms upon kilograms of rice.

And, so do all the preppers in the USA.

Why would they have all this rice if they did not know that they would soon need it?

John Oliver getting emotional at the horrific thought of a Trump presidency is utterly insane. He was president for 4 years and it was literally the same old <deleted>, nothing new. If anything there were less wars around. Things these days seem more sinsister and underhand.

I can back up my claim. Musk can't. He's simply FEAR MONGERING.

Harris wins, but the aftermath will be interesting to follow from a safe distance.

Hopefully the law enforcement is ready this time to secure a peaceful handover, even Trump guaranteed will claim the victory.

so will you be.

No I won't. Despite what all Americans seem to think, who you elect as president doesn't affect me one bit.

I'll be happy in Thailand living in my already purchased condo and living off my already exchanged Thai Baht. When the US$ crashes I'll happily buy and make a killing, exchanging later on
