The Prime Minister, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, has stepped forward today, promising her cooperation with the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) concerning the investigations into her father, Thaksin Shinawatra's, previous stay at the Police Hospital.

Nothing to see here, move along please.

Thaksin is also credited with reviving a joint Thai-Cambodian project to exploit natural resources near Koh Kood island.

Bravo . More pollution in the making .

Leave the oil and gas where it is .

The world as we know it is dying from the pollution by fossil fuels .

She is trying to defend the indefensible.  Thaksin is a liar pure and simple.

He has been a self serving cheat all his political life.

Yea ok but apart from that you think he is ok ?

Lets not forget , he was returning to an 8 years sentence.....reduced   (for some reason) to 1 year---why not look at that.

Might better be labeled the 'National Anti-Corruption Corrupt Commission.'

Historically in my opinion as a cover agency for the "Good People" who get caught.

Problem is that Thaksin is not one of the good people.  Never has been never will.  Right now he and his daughter are something needed to ward off the PP horde.

If the elite and military can figure out a way to get rid of Thaksin and Paethong while saving their parties they will cut them loose.

That or they wil screw it up so bad that they will be forced to say that people are not giving proper respect to elites and then bring in a military take over.

But I am not sure the people will allow that.
