Idiots. i don't think they were high on Marijuana, because if they were i don't think they would have the motivation to fight, Why is it when ever some one does something wrong it always because they are high. I am sure that in many other countries there are fights between tourist, but they don't get mentioned so no on knows about them, Maybe you should try some weed and see if you want to go out and fight, i'm sure you will not. It's not reported the reason why they were fighting, so why assume ?????
Popular Post bendejo
Some years back I was staying on Soi Diana in Pattaya, there was one bar seemed to have fights going on pretty regularly. Seemed like it was usually Brits and Aussies. Gave me the idea for a fight bar. Drinks only served in paper cups, barstools riveted to the floor, mirrors behind the bar made of metal. Maybe the girls instigate. 1

The National Police seems less focused (or ignorant?) on enforcing laws from a criminal aspect to enforcing civil peace which has little to do with the rule of law. The issue is that they are so focused on having an enticing place for tourists that they are willing to let things go for appearance sake

Cabradelmar
No one is afraid of the police or the consequences of breaking laws. If it's not 2 NZs wrestling away a cops gun, it's a Thai slapping a cop. Add to that the prevailing thinking that any trouble with the law can be evaded if you pay the right people. Thailand has only themselves to blame. Edited 45 minutes ago by Cabradelmar
