They must breed another form of complete idiots in the UK these days,, who would be so stupid to risk 10 years in a Thai prison for a free holiday,, lock them all up

They won't go to jail in Thailand for posting cannabis.

Unwitting? Unintelligent more likely. How stupid do you to be to be an unwitting participate to mule kilos of ganja back to the UK in your luggage.

They think it's easy dough, one thing for sure, these clowns are not Pablo Escobar!

They know exactly what they are doing and I know quite a few Pakistanis who are behind such schemes, even on a bigger scale than these small fry.

They are buying fabrics etc and smuggling it in with these goods on an industrial level.

They don't fall for it, they are willing participants. Anything except doing the four letter word......WORK!

Unwittingly? I think they were quite aware of what they were doing and did it intentionally.

I agree, or how else would they get a "free" holiday and spending money?

yeah right, so how does that explain zero arrests for recreational use / possession ?     Not to mention around 10,000  licenced shops selling it which have  clearly nothing to do with medicinal usage ?   Whatever you may wish to think it is clearly at present effectively legal..     And don't bother replying with your usual "but but anutin said" lecture.  nobody cares, except you

Once the govt gave it a Green Light(toward the end of previous military regime),

things went as the shirt below says...

That's like saying people who don't wear motorcycle helmets, drive without licenses, or driver against oncoming traffic are effectively legal, they are not.

Not the same at all many , especially foreigners, have been fined for such behaviour,  nobody has been punished for cannabis use since the law was changed,   Can you see the difference yet?

Nothing easy about smuggling drugs into the UK,   If you want "easy"  smuggle people,  that's where the smart money is

British citizens have reportedly been exploited as unwitting drug couriers,

Unwitting? Sure, you must be sorely lacking in the wits department if you think someone treats you to a free Thailand holiday out of the goodness of their heart.

If it sounds too good to be true... you should know there's a catch!

What's the big deal? Cannabis is readily available in the UK, even if not from hundreds of shops with large fluorescent weed signs outside like in Thailand, lol.

These recruits, needing no visas for UK entry, concealed the cannabis in their luggage, unwittingly contributing to Britain’s burgeoning cannabis problem.

You mis-spelled "wittingly."

I don't think the worst quality of marijuana and pot from Thailand would ever be wanting on a high demand in the UK.

indeed, nobody wants it, It sells for a fraction of the normal price.

Then they'll be wanting to legalize other substances, and so it goes on!

You're right that's exactly what I said when they legalized alcohol, tobbaco, sugar, and caffeine and now look where we are!

What we need are more laws that restrict everything except what the government (or you Scouse) deem is healthy for us all.

What I miss most about being an adult is not having anybody to tell me what to do everyday. Is this something you can help us with scouse?

My last trip in Bangkok i meet a nice guy from Malaysia. We took some drinks together and he always paid.

He bought bottle of nice whisky.. bought cigarettes and other things to me and a german guy.We meet many times and sat together and talked and had a really good time.Well..one day he came over and told me he had bought a new suitcase and offered me his old one This suitcase was good quality.I said no thanks because i get suspicious.

The german guy said yes.I think he tried to use us for bringing drugs to Europe.I dont know if the german guy brought that suitcase out of Thailand.

Looking past your facetious post, you are then saying, reading between the lines, that we should legalize Heroin, Ketamine, etc.

What a great idea.

Without some semblance of rules and order, we have Anarchy, but if that is what will make you feel like an adult, carry on!

You made a silly post and completely took out of context what I was meaning, but if it makes you feel adequate........

Paraguay did exactly as you said. Check it out. It is working for them.

There have to be rules but as my post alluded to, who makes the rules makes all the difference. Anything related to rules/laws must address this fundamental question. And you are correct; I don't want you making the rules.
