Please, move away from the mirror.

Why, we all know 'Nigel Farage' and Piers Morgan are indeed Trump boot lickers, all also car salesman types.

But, it would seem you and dinsdale are having some sort of 'relief' breakdown, that Trump actually won, it is so funny, but still childish..........😜

Nice try to change what you wrote, "actually getting away with murder" is not the same as saying someone is getting away with murder. Key word was 'actually" and Clinton is a rapist just very well covered up, and look at how many Democrats were both at Epstein island and P. Diddy parties. But hey I forgot Epstein killed himself.

You must be an American who wears a ball-cap back to front...........🤔

So, your 'actually', doesn't have a link to bolster your claim, but on another note, I don't care about your silly claims. .....

PS. But other readers might like the link you are going to provide with all the details, eh......:clap2:

I think this has to be an inflection point for the dems, there is much to be learned. I can't tell you the number of people that I've spoken with that tell me that the two biggest issues for them were the economy (and their perception that Biden was not doing much for the economy, which I tend to agree with) and the PC agenda. Especially trans rights, the fact that they had daughters who competed on teams that insisted on a man who decided to transition being allowed to use the same locker room even though his package was still intact. I don't think that as a Democrat we can overestimate the degree to which people were offended by that kind of policy. I could go on and on about the PC agenda and the extent to which it alienated tens of millions of folks, feeling like it was being crammed down their throats, how to speak, how to behave, and how to act.

I have to admit I am amongst those people, I am not a PC guy, I have not bought into the woke agenda, so I can relate.

The other aspect of this is that Biden should have been forced to accept one term, and he should have been moved aside before he even made the decision to run again. It's not about deferring to an incumbent, it's about the survival of the party.

My last thought is that after this massive failure the entire Democratic party apparatus should be dismantled, all the people in charge should be fired, and the party should be rebuilt from scratch from the ground up.

Demonizing conservatives at this point is simply not helpful, there is a reason why they voted the way they voted. I have a lot of conservative friends and family who I love and respect and I get why they were not comfortable choosing Harris. I did not like her, I have never liked her, I did not find her to be a likable character and I cannot express how many people have spoken to that disliked her to a huge extent and were extremely turned off by her extreme lack of policy. That was not misogyny. It was personality, her track record, and a lack of substance.

We must learn from this or we're destined to repeat the same mistakes over and over.

There are places where we don't agree, but you strike me as more of a classic liberal and intelligent. You see the problems too.
I was a classic liberal and a Democrat in the past.  And this meme I have posted before rings true.

Demonizing average Democrats accomplishes nothing either.  Far-left progressives?  There's one of the problems.  I agree with you.  The Democrat Party apparatus needs to be dismantled and reassembled.  It would be nice to see it go back to embracing true liberal values - anti-war, pro-peace, respect for human rights, pro-immigration (legally though the front door just like we do here in Thailand), pro-social-safety-nets, and and pro-checks-and-balances toward predatory capitalism. Personally I voted for Jill Stein and I didn't want to see Trump win, I wanted to see the Democrat machine lose. Big difference. Now it's time to rebuild.  I hope the Democrat party can peal off the progressive anchors-weight and disruptive elements from the party and begin a move back toward the center and back toward respect for classical liberal values.

For that statistic (68%) to be true, the voting population in the USA would have to be 437 million.

Here's an interesting graph that's making its way around the wingnut conspiracy sites...  The MSM is already pre-bunking it, using the same fibs they've used all along.  The data is correct, in the history books.  The question then becomes interpretation of the data.

Snipped for brevity. OK must have misread the article. Recent results show 69,048,230 for Harris, 73,388,221 for trump out of 161,462,000 registered voters. Extraordinary massive turnaround for trump - pollsters truly screwed up.

I think you have it backwards.  Fascism is exactly what they don't want. Hence the rejection of the authoritarian Dems and the landslide election of Trump.  If you don't understand that, you should probably take a break from reading propaganda.  Read some real news.

Good we have you here on AN to supply us with "real" news 😂

I want to see Megyn debate Rachel Maddow for two hours on why Harris lost.

Rachel can have everyone on the view to help her.

I’d pay $100 for the pay-per-view or $1,000, and fly anywhere in the states to see it live.

No clue what you're on about. Not sure what you need a link for. But hey I'm not the one whining about a political system that I am not effected by and that I have no way to impact. Just think about that, Trump, the American political system and how I wear clothes makes you stress and we live rent free in your head.

This time it’s different.  Got it!

It would be nice if you were correct.  Unfortunately. just because something hasn't happened doesn't mean it can't.

Remember what Hemingway said about bankruptcy?

Finally.

Probably not, unfortunately.  They've had a setback, that's all.  Or perhaps, I should say the "Great Reset" has been postponed.  It has been in the planning stage for years, but the new political system will put a damper on their plans.

If I knew that, I could become a trillionaire.  I really and truly hope that the status quo continues for the foreseeable future.  The collapse of the dollar and a disruption of the Western banking system would be problematic, no?  And yet how does the system continue to operate without constant change? Without adapting? Systems adapt or they die. Maybe the change is gradual. Usually, world reserve currencies don't vanish, they just fade away.  The world has had any number of reserve currencies, right?  For example, the British Pound is still around.

We now live in a multi-polar world.  And yet the Central Banks of the Western world don't like that.  They've all but monopolized the world's finances for decades, and they'd like to continue that monopoly.  Monopolies are a good thing to have.

We've all heard it all before.  It's not a rumor, though.  Just so you realize that. Maybe it matters to you.  Mathematically, the status quo must adapt.  Unless you think mathematics is a rumor that doesn't matter.

In terms of my personal finances, I'm currently operating on the theory that I don't care.  Like it or not, I'm 73 years old.  I'm all-in the market. Mainly tech stocks, at least in my USA accounts, but for about $23 in my checking account.  My checking accounts are free, so I can run them down to zero if I want. I might have a bit more in a few other accounts and enough money in my Thai bank to maintain my retirement extension of stay.  With any luck, I'll drop dead before the financial system collapses.  And currently, the results are fantastic.  In my primary brokerage account, I'm up 168% YTD.  Every day when I turn on my computer, I see more new money than I could ever spend here in Thailand.  A lot of that increase happened in just the last few months.  And if the market collapses? So what? I'll get dividends from my oil stocks.  At least that's the plan.

Does that make sense?

Over 73 million voting Americans are GARBAGE, as President Joe Biden pointed out accurately fingering the MSGarden crowd. This American  garbage population voted for one of histories most flawed and horrible humans to breathe air.  Belonging in the realm of the world's worst fascist dictators.  Tragically not stopped in two attempts. This convicted criminal, aided and abetted in the US Supreme Court and Senators and House of Representative cowards failed to protect democracy in America.   The good and the true defenders of democracy and justice have not prevailed.  They understood that the pandemic crisis and damage was not the fault of the Biden administration or the Vice President running for the office of President.  The worst day election of Donald Trump was akin to the bombing of Pearl Harbor and the Twin Towers on 9/11. The difference being attacks from without the country versus an attack from within the country (the 73 million plus garbage Americans).
