In a decisive operation in Banglamung district, Chonburi police and public health officials have arrested a man accused of operating an unlicensed medical clinic. The individual, known as Mr. Krit, 47, is alleged to have been providing medical services to locals without the necessary permits.

Authorities, suspecting the clinic of illegal activities, used an undercover operative with a trail-marked 1,000-baht note to conduct a drug test at the facility. Once the transaction was confirmed, officials swooped in, apprehending Mr. Krit and discovering the marked currency in the cash drawer. Further inspections uncovered that he had been issuing medical certificates without proper authorisation.

The clinic, lacking required permits, appeared to function as a makeshift laboratory, evidenced by numerous used medical kits found discarded. Mr. Krit, reportedly a government-employed medical technician, admitted to running the clinic for around a year. He claimed to have prepped necessary filing papers for a permit but allegedly never submitted them due to work pressures.

Despite holding a professional medical license, Mr. Krit was not permitted to operate such a clinic. He now faces charges of running a medical facility without authorisation and providing unauthorised medical services. The case has been transferred to Banglamung Police Station for further processing, reported The Pattaya News.

That's arse about face?

At least he held a medical license. More than many other places, however his excuse is lame for not registering.  Numnut
