Steve Madden announces relocation from China due to upcoming tariffs

Steve Madden, CEO of Madden Shoes, a 2.3 billion dollar company, announced that they will be moving operations out of China due to approaching new tariffs.

Tariffs will either increase the cost to US citizens of goods coming out of China or force companies to relocate. This could be useful in moving factories to the USA, creating new jobs, and reinvigorating our economy.

Unfortunately, he has announced that they will be relocating from China to either Lao, Thailand, Cambodia, or Vietnam, which will not help the USA in any way.

Will this be the pattern in the near future? Companies aren't interested in MingAGA, they are only interested in profits.
