Thai Tax Returns for Foreigners
At the moment if you have no income generated in Thailand and don't remit any money into Thailand than I would ask what are you living on......(I guess the clue may be in the "our accountant") Correct that no filing needs to be made in that circumstance but it has absolutely nothing to do with your home country tax return. -

Republicans win control of the US House of Representatives
I’m thinking that while I agree there was a rejection of the Democrats, that the election of Trump, in large measure, is a rejection of the traditional Republican Party as well. Trump has given voice to the justified frustration/anger by purposely beating down the traditional Republicans. He has voiced wanting to drastically change the status quo in government … the working middle class is so emotionally driven to want change … well, I will await their reaction if Trump carries out his stated goals … -

Thai gov. to tax (remitted) income from abroad for tax residents starting 2024 - Part II
There is no sprit involved. There is the letter of the agreement. The agreement is to avoid taxing the same money at a higher rate than the maximum in either country . The principal is that the highest rate of tax should be paid, be that in one country or two is immaterial, often a single payment in the source country, but there is nothing to prevent taxation in both countries, for most income. There is no sprit that supports only one country taxation. The immense misconception that the vast majority of people fall into is thinking that “because I have paid tax I one country I do not have to pay tax in the other country“. This is only true if the tax due in the first country is greater than the tax due in the second country. I have heard of nobody getting that kind of assistance. -

Israelis in Thailand on Alert After Security Warning
I'm not sure what this specific group did or did not do, but the fact is there were organized gangs of Muslims who went to the streets in massive numbers to hunt down passerbys and beat up and rob anyone who they found to be Israeli. This wasn't a random act of outrage- it was a calculated plan long before the event. These scum do not integrate nor respect their host countries - anyone who breaks the law and spits in the face of hospitality should be sent right back home to Africa/Syria/whereever they came from. Diversity is not a goal - that's a joke - diversity causes problems which you have to fix and try to prevent as much as possible.
