Misogynistic Attacks Against Women Surge on Social Media Following Trump’s Election Win

You think criminals and criminal gangs will obligingly wear neon signs identifying themselves?

You think after Trump has purged law enforcement, appointing a kiddie fiddler as its head, there will be anybody competent left there in the slew of political staffing?

IIRC it was America that invented the term collateral damage.

What an absolutely stupid comment and completely disrespectful to those in law enforcement. Do you not think they don't know who these people are? They arrest them and then the woke courts release them. As for appointing in your words "a kiddie fiddler" this just shows where your mind's at. Absolutely disgraceful comment.

Let's see:

Trump has appointed an anti-vaxxer and anti-fluoride campaigner to safeguard the nation's health.

In his last administration, he appointed an oil industry executive as Secretary for the Environment.

On that basis, I'd say he is running true to form. It's yet to be seen whether he will pardon the Jan 6 insurrectionists.

Attacking me indicates you can't handle the truth, as Jack Nicholson would say.

If you consider my post to be so offensive, report it.

Having doubts about vaccines is not being an anti-vaxxer. What he and Trump are calling for is transparency in the science. Do you have a problem with this? Do you think Pfizer and Moderna have the right to withhold selective pieces of their research? Should they have indemnity from prosecution if it can be proven (and it sure seems it can) that their products cause harm and they fully knew this? As for Trump's previous administration appointments Trump's the 1st one to say he made mistakes. This time it's merit and loyalty. No DEI appointments from him. Your complete and utter bias lacks any credence.

I guess I am biased against a felon, fraudster, sexual predator, narcissistic sociopath and serial liar, because I was brought up with certain moral and ethical standards. I'll leave it to others to judge how much credibility I have.

You are trying to tell me the appointment of a recovering heroin addict, with a bias against one of dental health's most successful measures as the health czar, is based on merit?

Appointing someone with serious allegations of under-age sex unresolved, is based on merit?

What planet are you on?

Trump admits mistakes with weasel words that have to be pried out of him.

He has never admitted his dilatory response to COVID probably cost Americans' lives.

I think it is mostly the fact that women attacking men has been recently on the increase.

Some now, the women, have stated they will go on strike, and that they will become...

Completely celibate.

Actually, I do not blame the women, that much.

So many guys here that might not be completely appealing to the younger women...

In every way.

He is not a vaccine skeptic. He's a vaccine cynic. He doesn't have "doubts". While big pharma might keep some research secret it isn't because they know their products harm people and don't care.  They aren't big tobacco. You conspiracy theorists believe any garbage you are told so long as it fits your world view.

Interesting you mention big tobacco. Now it's big food. As for big pharma caring about people what universe do you live in. Their interest is profit. Trillions of $ of it.

I have lived for ninety-one years next month, despite the medical profession's best efforts.😉

I have lived for 81 years. In remission from three different types of cancer.

Without the intervention of the medical profession, I would have been pushing up daisies for about 17 years already.

While I congratulate you on your longevity, I can't say the same for your dumb comment.

The loathsome leftist Australian government has a program called the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme ( PBS ).

The maximum fee for drugs is $31.60 for general patients, or $7.70 for concession card holders e.g. pensioners, unemployed.

There is a safety net ensuring general patients pay no more than $1650 per year, or $277 per year for concession card holders. Any prescriptions that exceed the safety net are free.

No doubt Trump and RFK will copy Australia, for the benefit of all Americans.

There's likely very little he can do as the "misogynistic attacks against women" probably aren't that at all.  🤷‍♂️

Not sure what this has to do with the big tobacco moving across to big food. As for Australia it does have a pretty good health care system but it's not perfect. As for the "loathsome leftist Australian government" they to might feel the wrath of the voters come next year. The average person is as sick of wokeism there as they are in the US and everywhere else.

My comment was made in jest with good old British humour and not to be taken seriously. I would have thought that you were still not too old to remember what humour is. I wish you long life and good health. Laughter is the best tonic.

IIRC you were commenting on Big Pharma as well. In the USA, it's a monster out of control.

As an example, a cancer drug I was taking for 12 months cost me AUD 100. I am reliably informed in America, the same course of treatment would have cost  USD 70,000.

We have had leftist governments on and off since Federation. They are usually the ones introducing major reforms.

As for wokeism, Australians are much more easy-going than Americans, who seem to be getting wound tighter and tighter every year. We are also far more cynical about politicians from the left OR right, which is why we have so many independents.

Fair enough, it gets hard on this forum to distinguish humor from posts that are deadly serious.

My apologies.

May you continue to flourish.

I lost my first wife to cancer in 1982. My present Thai wife of thirty-seven years has recovered remarkably well from breast cancer and the treatment she received from Thai government hospitals. She is now leading a normal everyday life. I have great respect for the medical profession here in Thailand and it seems the treatment for cancer has improved remarkably. My wife didn't suffer the side effects from the treatment my first wife suffered from. For that, I am most grateful. Good health and long life.👍

No, it's just weak and insecure men, many of whom are Incels, who lack the cojones to be a real man and do well with women.

Men need to ask themselves why their relationships failed, and be honest. All of these Incels, losers and misogynists who have crawled out from under their rocks now that 47 has won, are still going to be losers, as women simply do not want such partners. Treat a woman with respect and as an equal, and every pleasure imaginable is within one's grasp. It's not rocket science, it's basic human dynamics, something totally alien to the Loser Class. The other thing real men do is accept responsibility when things come up short.

This is all good news for decent and strong men everywhere. We've always done well with the opposite sex, and trends like 'Your body, MY choice" pretty much guarantee clear sailing for us for the next 4 years.

I knew there had to be something positive about 47's win.

Not all women can be trusted no matter how much respect you give them. They will take advantage and betray the trust.

I watched that Nick F rant.  I can't believe he isn't gay because no woman who knows him will ever be spreading her legs for him without cash.   I admit the Expectations of many western women have increased along with their education and weight and I was lucky in my first marriage but surely didn't like what I saw in the dating pool 10 years ago.

I've read that lots of young men are frustrated by women who are educated and earning their own way and won't settle for misogynistic aholes anymore.   The only question is how far will the pendulum swing to the left in 4 years and the midterms.   With appointments like JFK Jr and accused pedo Matt Gaetz.

The blacks and Latinos with papers were worried the new immigrants would work harder than they want to is why they voted to close the border.  Can't wait to see the numbers stay similar.

Agree.  I'm 84 and my woman is 30 years younger.  She still calls me Babe.  And that's no lie.

Omg.   It's loyalty and ass licking not merit. Good thing many of his picks so far won't be approved.

I've been thinking we need an upper age limit or mental test for senior voters.   It's good thing humans have a limited lifespan.

The possibility that vaccines can have harmful side effects is well known.  IMOP, the benefits outweigh the risks involved.

Sorry to disappoint you.  She owns the house we live in and has a stable, well paying job.

We both have living trusts. My assets willed to my sons and her assets willed to her family.

My house is rented out which supplements my retirement income. We both treat each with respect and our relationship meets the approval (which we don't need) of both of our families.
