I am no American taxpayer. But if I would know that I will pay next year maybe 10k less tax and I would know that Trump and Musk make each 1k extra from every 10k saved, I think I would still like that idea.

Known for hyperbole and occasionally misstating something. If we exclude narcissists from politics and taking all the abuse that comes with it, then we'd have no governments. But if you liked the narcissist, then you'd have absolutely no problem, so it isn't per se the issue.

 

Biden even lied about his son's death. Leftist media continually lies about Trump. And he's not "convicted," or a felon. That's merely a DNC talking point for the yokels, widely repeated here. 

 

People elected Trump to carry out the policies in the Republican Party platform, and he seems to be positioning himself to do just that against powerful entrenched interests. So if he succeeds, then you might think it was smart of those who support the policies to have elected him.

 

If you don't like the policies, then it is of course the righteous duty of any self-respecting forum poster to call "stupid" (and worse) those who do--and demonize the man implementing them, no matter how well he succeeds. Dogs need their fleas.

The goals of a government frequently diverge from what a business plan would advise.  The government often has to choose the least bad alternative whereas a business can just abandon a losing market presence.

 

I don't think business persons necessarily make better governmental choices than those without business experience.
