Biden lifts restrictions on Ukraine using US weapons to strike deep inside Russia.

President Biden authorized Ukraine to use U.S.-supplied missiles to strike further into Russia, multiple reports said.

The move comes as about 10,000 North Korean troops aid Russia in its war and expect to fight in Ukraine in the “next several weeks.”

The move also comes after President-elect Trump won the presidential election, claimed he would end the Russia-Ukraine war in one day and raised the question if his administration would be as supportive of Ukraine as Biden’s, The Associated Press reported.

An official and others familiar with the matter told the AP about Biden’s authorization but were not able to discuss the decision publicly, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

In a nightly address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he is “deeply grateful” to all of the country’s partners who support them with “air defense systems and missiles.”

It's a good question, but while he should have been forced out after they had to admit he wasn't competent to be POTUS again, it seems the congress isn't interested in doing anything about it. Perhaps they realised a senile old man was better than a moronic younger woman in charge.

Seems we have someone posting that doesn't know that Putin has nukes. While he may not have used them so far, it's irrational to believe that he would not if Russia was losing.

In that event, a lot more Ukrainians will die, and perhaps everyone the poster knows as well as himself.

On CNN some lady was saying that Ukraine can't actually launch any of them without the USA being directly involved with satellites to aim them. So every strike would need US approval. I am not sure if satellite would mean Starlink or something else. 

 

Zelensky already said the war would be shortened with Trump in place> I am sure Trump is saying don't do it to him.

Good luck fighting if your entire communications system is cut off. I am going to predict Zelensky doesn't hit anything of value deep in Russia. He knows there is a table to negotiate at soon. Ukraine will never take that territory back. I could be wrong and Zelensky fights until the last m,an, because that is what it will come to in that scenario.

Yeah but trump and Musk have a strong hand right now. I can almost guarantee Zelensky hits nothing of consequence deep in Russia. They need USA permission to do so. Not sure anybody needs PUtin enraged before they begin the messy business of chopping up eastern Ukraine. There is no other end to this war other than Ukraine eventually losing.

Apparently someone doesn't realise that using nukes in RETALIATION is different from a first strike.

Nth Korea having nukes doesn't mean they will use them to invade Sth Korea, but it definitely means that Sth Korea and the US won't be invading the Nth.
