Sripat Hospital Appointment Scheduling - Do you consider their scheduling to be odd
Same experience on my recent visit — no specific appointment time. They just ask you to arrive and wait 2–3 hours. I showed up about 3 hours early, just before the doctor was scheduled to start, and ended up getting in first. That might’ve been because of all the negative reviews on Google Maps about this issue, or maybe just because I was early. For a 9am–12pm consultation period, try getting there around 8:15am. Don’t rely on the receptionists at the ground floor — they told me I’d have to wait 2–3 hours because I was number 25. Instead, go straight to the floor where your doctor’s clinic is and check in with the reception there. They’ll direct you to the preliminary checks, and you might actually get in quickly. FWIW, unless you absolutely need to see a specific specialist, it might be better to go somewhere like Ram instead. My experience at Sripat was disappointing — rushed and not thorough. The nurses did a quick preliminary check, and when I finally saw the specialist, it lasted maybe 2 minutes. The doctor seemed impatient and was checking their watch the whole time. Honestly, the fee would’ve been similar at Ram and probably worth it for a better experience. -

Yes, I am certain this is the case. When I worked for the Tourist Police in Chiang Rai, it was well known that many Thai people worked in the casinos across the border from Mae Sai in Tachilek, Burma. They were employed in croupier, cashier and admin posts. The more mundane jobs (catering, cleaning etc.) were for the Burmese people. Although I now live in Siem Reap, I am not aware of similar arrangements with the casinos in Cambodia, but could be a reason. As we all know, Thai people like to gamble and as all the land borders into Cambodia are currently closed to ordinary travelers and tourists, the only way Thai people can gamble in Cambodian casinos is to fly to either Siem Reap, Phnom Penh or Sihanoukville where onward travel overland will take them to the casinos. -

The actual war might end but not the killing of Palestinians and the theft of their land like right now in the West Bank. They did not start a war and yet are getting killed and robbed as we speak. Do you think Israel would surrender those, who raped and murdered Palestinian women and children? Hardly. The prefer to present them as war heroes in TV shows. -
