Surat Thani - A Russian man and an Israeli woman were arrested at a café on the Pha Ngan Island in Surat Thani after they allegedly hired illegal Myanmar workers.

The Surat Thani Immigration told the Phuket Express that earlier this week they arrested MS. YAARA, 35, an Israeli national and MR. BORIS, 46, a Russian national at a café on the Pha Ngan Island.

Officers also arrested six illegal Myanmar workers who were found working at the café. They were taken to the Koh Pha Ngan Police Station.

Hiring illegal Burmese workers is a job reserved for Thais.  Didn't they know that?  No wonder they got snitched out by someone.  Now just deport these two miscreants back to their own country along with a 10 year ban on returning.

You want to deport two people and ban them for 10 years for having a business and using exactly same business practices as any Thai owned business nearby, by  employing people that did not have a work permit ??

.... why not just go all in on the stupidity and suggest the death penalty ?   :whistling:
