A foreign tourist, heavily intoxicated, was detained early  morning on November 18, after allegedly attacking the husband of a restaurant owner with a bottle. The incident occurred at Fierce Food and Drink in Soi Pratamnak 4, Nong Prue.

At 03:05, Ms. Krongkan 45, the restaurant's owner, reported the altercation to Pattaya City Police. She informed police that the restaurant had already closed when the intoxicated tourist attempted to enter. After being informed of the closure, the tourist became aggressive.

Ms. Krongkan, alone at the time, called her husband, also a foreign national, for assistance. Nearby cannabis shop staff also tried to de-escalate the situation, but the tourist refused to leave. The confrontation escalated when the tourist struck Ms. Krongkan's husband on the head with a bottle. In self-defense, her husband, who was holding a wooden stick, retaliated, leaving the tourist with a head injury.

Officers arrived to find the tourist incoherent due to severe intoxication and with a head wound. He carried no identification documents. Police detained him and coordinated with rescue personnel for first aid. He was later placed in a holding cell at Pattaya City Police Station to sober up.

Ms. Krongkan provided CCTV footage and partial video clips as evidence. Authorities plan to question the tourist once he regains sobriety to ensure a fair investigation for all parties involved.

Could do with someone pointing at him

And still doesn't say what country he's from, regardless of what posters have said on the other thread.
