Got evisa 2022 Aug 

Non o for marriage 

Submitted paper copy with application for extension of stay 

2023 got 2nd extension 

not asked for e Visa copy 

Now 2024 today when applying for extension of stay, immigration asking for the copy of e visa from 2022

Question, any suggestions how to get a duplicate copy of e visa 

I did not know that it would be required after initial extension, so I've deleted it in emails, yes I know, not good!

 

Well they gave me 30 day consideration but still need a copy of original evisa

That is a good question!

So immigration today asked for hard copy of eVisa. Then you type..

So they accepted your application and gave you a return date stamp?

(under consideration period) 

If yes you're fine (imo) 

Did you tell them you don't have copy of approval eVisa email..

Yes in fact I gave the hard copy to udon Thani immigration when I applied for my first extension in 2022

So they have it in storage 

And yes they stamped me with consideration stamp but advised me to locate evisa??

Yes  they had no problem accepting my $$$

Yes paid 1900.00

Might be worthwhile printing out the details from the system anyway, that shows the embassy reference no. (unfortunately not the visa number itself), visa type, issue date and passport number.  Better than nothing maybe.

OK will do 

Crazy thing is they have the evisa from my initial extension in 2022

2023 not asked for it 

Then yesterday while applying for another extension they asked for it!

I've never seen anything stated that I was supposed to have access to the evisa indefinitely 

I thought it was only to enter Thailand and use while applying for initial extension!

So I'll be careful in future to save documents

Prior to eVisa and we had one page sticker for the non O visa in passport.

Then to do extensions (extension of permission of stay not visa) you included photocopy of the page with the non O (expired) 

Even when you renew your pp the information about the non O is transferred to new pp.

 

Thinking your thread a reminder to does with an eVisa regardless of what type, you need to hold onto a copy.

Easy mistake to have overlooked that..
