Just for your sake of interest and taking into consideration some of the utter idiocy we have read on this thread by genuine idiots - you need to accept guilt before you can be pardoned. No way Trump will accept guilt ( and neither should he ). 

 

The requirement to accept guilt is the reason why pardonees cannot use the 5th Amendment in front of Congressional investigations and Grand Juries. The logic is you cannot incriminate yourself when you have already accepted you are guilty.

Yep, even on video admitting/bragging how he threatened to refuse the money unless the prosecutor investigating fraud & corruption of burisma was fired.

Its not about Trump, its about the elite politicians & corporate  corruption, they should all be held accountable, but seems some, like JB, Clinton, pelosi ARE above the law, if the journalists did their job and dug into things like their huge wealth of gov salary, and followed up on allegations these people might be exposed, but they are well n truely on the Democrat side. Get it in perspective! The vast numbers of the pardoned 'elite' were by trump. trump pardoned 237 convicted criminals mainly for political loyalty...Now the supreme court has given trump carte blanche whilst he is in power.

 

Of the pardons and commutations that Trump did grant, the vast majority were to persons to whom Trump had a personal or political connection, or persons for whom executive clemency served a political goal.

I was referring to pardoning 'political allies. Obama pardoned 1927 who has been convicted of federal crimes. If you wish to wade through their cases and identify who you believe were not worth, go for it and set up another topic.
