Australian Man Runs Amok, Sets House on Fire, and Smashes Vehicles in Pattaya
Picture from responders. A 38-year-old Australian man caused chaos in a housing estate in Pattaya, Nong Prue subdistrict, Bang Lamung district, early on the morning of December 4. The man, later identified as Andrew Bruno, was reportedly in a state of psychotic distress. He ran naked through the area, smashed vehicles with a metal grate, and ultimately set his rented house on fire. Pol. Lt. Nathakorn Chanlod of Nong Prue Police Station received a report at 08:30 about the foreign man behaving violently in Paradise Hill Villa 1 on Soi Thung Klom–Tan Man, Moo 10. Officers and fire services were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, authorities found significant damage to a black Ford Everest and a blue Honda Click motorcycle parked in front of the house. The suspect had used a metal drain cover to smash the vehicles. Inside the house, chaos ensued as Andrew Bruno screamed and broke furniture. Neighbours and security footage revealed the man was naked and aggressive, yelling at police and threatening to burn the house down if anyone approached. Despite police efforts to calm him, Bruno retreated inside and set the house on fire. Smoke quickly filled the property. Police called the Nong Prue Municipal Fire Dervice, which arrived shortly after and extinguished the fire before it could spread. Officers subdued the suspect in a tense struggle as he resisted arrest. Bruno sustained injuries from broken glass and minor burns and was transported to Bang Lamung Hospital for treatment. The homeowner, Ms. Am 56, explained that Bruno had been renting the property with his Thai wife and two children for six months. She revealed that he suffered from depression and bipolar disorder and often displayed violent behaviour when not taking his medication. Recently, he had shown signs of distress, yelling and arguing with his wife. In the days leading up to the incident, Bruno’s behavior became increasingly erratic. On the morning of the fire, his wife and children fled to the security booth at the housing estate, leaving him alone in the house. The estate’s security guard witnessed Bruno smashing vehicles and unsuccessfully attempting to block the home’s ventilation with electrical tape before setting it ablaze. Authorities plan to question Bruno and his family after his medical treatment to determine the appropriate legal actions. Damages from the incident include the fire and smoke damage to the house, two damaged vehicles, and broken household items. -- 2024-12-05 -

NYC Mayor Eric Adams Open to Collaborating with Trump’s Border Czar
He was on board until he figured out no Biden bucks were coming to pay for it all. That's when some local officials woke up and started crying. Meanwhile JNoe to their dismay pretended it wasn't happening. He would be singing a different tune if it brought in a few billion annually. -

Thai Tax Strategy Revamp: VAT Hike, Income Tax Cuts Proposed
10-12% would be ideal but having 15% is fair. I can consider paying that instead of 25-30%. I can see myself living long term there with that taxation. -
