How about you?

Before I switched to the 1 year notification visa, I always mailed my 90-day notification by Thai Post by EMS so I had a record of timely delivery.

I’m Mr DIY, no agent and go alone. Get there early and usually done within an hour for the non-o. The worst part is navigating through the knee jerking folks from the big red country up north.

I DIY both extension and 90 day, no issues at all.

Usually 1-2 hours for extension and 5 minutes for 90 day.

I guess living in BKK has it's draw backs because of the shear numbers.

Out here in the bush, we don't have that problem.

At the Immigration office in Kamphaeng Phet, if you get there before 10am you are usually their only customer, and it takes between 5 and 10 minutes. It is about a 1 hour drive each way. My wife is my driver and we usually combine it with a bulk shop in the city.

So easy. We go 4 times a year, 3 times for a 90 report and the fourth to combine the 90 report and the annual extension.

The op seems to find the hardest way to do things.

IMO simply to find something to whine and complain about.

Oh, bully for you, perhaps you have never had to wait four hours to do it.

Formerly lived in BKK and dealt with CW. Was always a LONG, rude, inconvenient fustercluck. So happy to report in Chon Buri these past 4 years. It's not perfect by a long shot, but a damn sight better than CW.

Online in Jomtien since the new 90-day online report started a couple years ago. Never took more than 2 days for approval and usually same day. Got a new PP this year and left the country after that, so my last 2 reports were in-person...in and out in 20-30 minutes.

No I haven't but in the first year of my extension I had a 3 hour and 185 km journey each way to Mae Sot.

The next year Nakhon Sawan Immigration opened which was only a 2 hour journey and 130 km each way.

Several years later Kamphaeng Phet Immigration opened which is only 70 km and just over 1 hour each way. KPP Immigration office has moved location 4 times since then.

Oddly enough through all the IO offices since 2009 I have not whined or complained once.

Journey time is on you. You chose to live a long way from the Provincial immigration office, your choice. I am talking about a four hour wait excluding journey.

How about you?  Do you physically go to the immigration, do it onlne, or use an agent?

You must be still learning as you are not considering all the options. Physically going to immigration does not take all day like you say if you plan ahead and book an appointment. Do it online when you can (i.e. not after an international trip) which takes two minutes. Do it by post which takes a little longer. Using an agent is a rip off, but some may go for it, not me.

I went there 3 weeks ago, went from being told i had 48 hrs to leave the country,to being stamped in till next November all within 2 hrs,, fantastic staff...got my first 90 day report in feb, do you need and photos, form filling, photo copying, never done one before..

At my office in Nakhonsawan, you just need your passport. The 90 report paper should be stapled in the back and usually takes less than a minute at this office - walk in and walk out. I'm only 15 mins away so no need to bother doing it online

When I used to use the office there, by the time I opened the door and went in and took my passport out, the lady was waiting with her hand out for the passport. Mostly I didn't even have time to sit down before it was done.

Another very good Immigration office. The worst one I ever went to was Suan Phlu. Parking was terrible and it was always crowded, usually with agents.

That's exactly what happens. My bum doesn't hit the seat when she calls me up 😂
