There is plenty of bars like i described owned by foreign husband and Thai wife I drink at one a few times a week

I did have a bar and a shop in Pattaya years ago....but kept well out of it.

 

The wife is currently building a 'restaurant' and bar where we are now living......and I still keep well out of it.

 

Thais are rarely wrong and Thai wives are never wrong.
