Hello Folks,

Done recently a TM30 upon returning back into the country from a short trip.

I've done the TM30 myself on the website from immigration and was succesfull *(as usual). On the overview page, I can see that the status is highlighted in green color as; "INFORMED". However, to my surprise, the actual TM30 doc *(when downloading in pdf), does no status at all. It's confusing now to say the least. Has anyone else noticed these changes? Looks like the overall format of the pdf has changed, apart most other details are still on there...

Cheers,

I noticed the same thing.

I'm also trying to understand this, and in my case, a bit worried as I'm preparing to apply for O visa (and eventual extension for retirement). A google translation seemed to suggest that the title of the portrait one-page A4 document was maybe just an acknowledgment that updated status had been 'submitted' (but silent otherwise). As you say it's not clear. I'm asking the landlord to send a screenshot of the "Informed" webpage with the green checkmark just so I have both to hand at Immigration.

Is there a date in the "Inform Date" field?

Can you describe these changes, or post a redacted copy?

Here's one I did  a month or so ago (which is exactly like all my previous ones) vs one done a week or so ago.

I have done these many times so I filled out the online notification in exactly the same way as I have always done. I'm not worrying about it - I figure they just changed something and that's it.

I don't see a problem. New format is missing the informed date but still has the check-in date. If that's what the online system spits out why worry?

Also as you are supposed to report within 24 hours of check-in date, removing the informed date is actually good for us. If I arrived at my condo 1-Dec and only informed them 7-Dec, technically I'd be liable for a fine. Now it doesn't seem to matter when informed date is

Maybe you missed the bit where I said, "I'm not worrying about it - I figure they just changed something and that's it."

Maybe you missed the quote button so it is obvious who you are replying to.

No need to quote OP as they get a notification for every message on their thread (and thread would get quite clogged if everyone quoted OP when responding in thread). I also didn't quote you which I would have if replying to you.

Why do you care so much about who is responding to who in the thread?

Please help me to understand. Do folks with 12 month extensions report a TM 30 every time they travel around Thailand for a few days? My TM 30 is stapled in my Passport and updated yearly when I apply for extension and that's it.

For my first 12 years I had never made one TM30.

Extensions based on retirement dealing with CW.

For my most recent extension I had my condo office me a TM30 as seemed required.

Never do one after local and international travel.

As usual immigration offices vary.

My understanding (from previous threads) is that those on 12 month extensions/12 month Non O's only have to report TM30 again upon extension/visa renewal and on change of address.  I often wondered if a trip out of the country or a stay at a Thai hotel for example would cancel your TM30 registration - most replies I've seen say not, providing you return to the registered address but I'd be checking that with your immigration office.

No, I won't be checking with anyone. It's never been as issue whether international travel or domestic throughout Thailand. I was just curious about others posting about it.
