He’s such an insufferable tool.

Musk shot his bolt a bit early with that one.

He should have kept that in reserve for Starmer. After all, his father was a real tool maker, and certainly lived up to his name when he made ' The Kier '

If there's an insufferable tool it's got to be Elon Musk. The guy is totally losing the plot.!!

Nevertheless, Musk has done rather well in life...

The Musk-man is not wrong. The saving grace is that Trudeau will be chucked out on his ass after the next election, hopefully by spring. And a decent man (Pierre Polievre) can take over and begin the difficult task of restoring Canada to decency and relevance.

Well I suppose so, he has made an awful lot of money (much of it off the American government) and has used it to buy himself into a place in the American government.

You know I can't help wandering if there's some sort of back story behind this sudden desire to make Canada a state of the USA.

Canada has an awful lot of valuable resources, oil, natural gas, hydro, timber, precious metals, huge agricultural potential, and not that very many people.

That could add up for an awful lot of money for people with the right connections.

Geographically it is of course very large, but in terms of population it is small, and it would be argued that it should be only one state, two senators and a handful of congressmen, with the right approach that could be suitably gerrymandered.

It must be deeply offensive to many Canadians ( I know quite a number and have heard several times what they think of their neighbours to the south) to listen to the Fat Orange Man alternatively bullying them, and trying to make out that they are really part of his domain!

And what should we think about a guy who spends millions, or was it billions, to help an ahole to be POTUS?

I am looking forward to the clash of the Musk and Trump egos. I am sure that will be a nice show.

What is offensive is the embarrassment caused by having Trudeau as Prime Minister, and his lackeys in the New Democratic Party who prop up his government to save him from the righteous wrath of the voters.

Who care what Musk said. He is not an elected official and does not represent the any segment of the population. Just his usual idiosyncratic unsolicited comment. He is the biggest hypocrite on free speech.

Musk might be a tad presumptuous with his prediction.

There is a reasonable chance Trudes wins a 3rd term

It would be rather funny if that were an unintended consequence of the fat orange man's blustering!

I'm not a Musk groupie but if you read the article even Canada's premiers (a gov't position similar in scope to US senators) criticized Trudes for his asinine remarks that Harris lost the election only because she was a woman.

Doesn't matter if he's right or wrong. A man in his position as an advisor to the president elect and in charge of a major government task force shouldn't say things like that.

If the yanks invade we will tie our skates a little tighter, sharpen our hockey stacks and give them a right proper beating...again!

Cheers buddy, but I think at this stage most Canadians would welcome a US rescue mission.

You seen the economic stats coming out of Canada lately?

His cars are already being boycotted by his once fellow academic supporters. I can't wait to see the 'dream team' start operating Jan 20, the 73m+ will soon get the price they voted.
