Not until they apologize for every Seth Rogen movie I've wasted bandwidth downloading.

I'd be even more cheezed if I actually paid to watch those turds, compelling me to sit through more than 5 or 10 minutes of them.

Apologize?  We are still waiting for an apology for hooking us on maple syrup and hockey.  That bastages.   🤣

Vermont maple syrup is now better quality. Most of the Canadian maple syrup comes from Quebec and it seems to be watered down. Gone is the density of the old days (like 5 years ago).

They wish they could be part of the USA.

No they do not. There are some people yes, but a closer look reveals that they are the people who were unable to emigrate to the USA. Canadians as a whole are rather nationalistic despite their bs that they are polite, humble  etc.

Trump did make a joke about Canada being a state of the USA .

Are you continuing that joke by posting this thread or are you taking it seriously ?

He started up again. It is rather infantile calling the Prime Minister, Governor multiple times and Canada the 51st state.

Trump is  about to have Canada open a big can of whoop. Most Americans are unaware that their energy security relies on Canadian oil and  electricity. No peak time  electricity means that the USA  can and will go dark. The Republican midwest oil refineries are set up to process the thick Canadian crude. If they lose  the access, a lot of Republican voters will be impacted.

Ontario powered 1.5 million homes in the U.S. in 2023 and is a major exporter of electricity to Michigan, Minnesota and New York.

Upstate New York relies on the Ontario electricity and it is where Stefanik and Homan  are from. Turn off Hydro Quebec's electricity and the east coast of the USA from Maine to Florida goes dark.  Trump can have fun with candles and a flashlight when he goes for a pee at 1 AM.

2 months ago when I told that the basic thing of geopolitics is that there are no friends among countries, all of the countries are competitors I read this interesting comment -

Your assessment is blind to reality.  There are countries who take their friendships very much to heart. The Canada -USA relationship is one of the closest in the world. Canada is not a pseudo colony of the USA.

Dude - Trump is going to keep you entertained for the next four years.  Otherwise you'd be bored out of your mind.  But now - you can throw shade at Trump multiple times a week. It will add meaning to your life. You should be happy he was elected.

It will be frustrating for him/them, hoping for disaster and nothing happening

Canadians -- I am very very sorry sorry that my lame duck criminal "president" elect is such a crass demagogic troll.

That makes no sense.

Biden is a lame duck.  His handlers removed him from the campaign, thus he is not a resident-elect.

But I agree, we as 'Merkans should apologize to our neighbors to the north for the tide of progressive filth abandoning the US, washing up on their shores.

I used to live in upstate Vermont.  Beautiful of you like freezing your ass off half the year.  LOL.

I have worked on syrup runs.  It's kinda fin at first but gets old.  Yeah, Vermont syrup is great.  didn't know it surpassed Canadian stuff.

And my comment on the Ukraine thread was in respect to countries NOT going to war over border disputes. It is still valid today.

And no matter what Trump says or does, the Canada -USA relationship is one of the closest in the world. It has to be, because of the trading relationship.  Trump can say and do what he wants. He will be in office for no more than 4 years. Canada has gone through hostile US administrations before. Trump isn't going to war and he won't be bombing kindergartens like Putin. Nor will US mercenaries be stealing women's lingerie and home appliances or torturing people  as the Russians have done in Ukraine.

An American apologist leader cannot command the respect of his foreign allies and especially his adversaries. Trump commands the respect from all, even those here on AN that are annoyed by him, after all, that cite his name and MAGA slogan here religiously. JT, you have submitted to Trump’s respect whether or not you can admit to it, you are utterly obsessed with the guy that’s got you by the balls.

No. Not respected.

It wasn't a joke. That's what the maga morons call anything Trump says that may be questionable. Actually it is another sign of Trump's senility. Lucky for him he has Musk there now to pull the strings.
