ABC News Settles Defamation Lawsuit with Trump for $15 Million
That was when they changed what Harris said in the interview to show her giving a better reply than she had. CBS claims it was done for time allotment purposes although we all know differently. It will need a jury to resolve it. The ABC network knew they would lose so they opted to pay Trump the lesser amount than any jury would have meted out. CBS will fold and pay out also in a settlement if they see they are losing in the case or there is a chance they will lose. -

Thai woman caught smuggling 6 million baht of cocaine into Japan
DamnifIknow! It's big news here. I live right near the New Jersey border. I have heard there are nuclear weapons stored over there. I didn't know that until now. I read and heard that one crashed in a wooded area and today saw a headline (I didn't read it) on the internet that citizens are threatening to shoot them down. I hope not!! I watched a video on youtube posted by someone claiming to have recorded two drones. It was clearly, very clearly seen, in the video, that he had recorded two different jet aircraft. You could see the wings and rudder on the damn things! That's all we need, hysterical idiots shooting at low flying civilian aircraft!!! -

Landslide Buries Workers’ Camp on Koh Samui, Two Missing
UPDATE Construction Workers Found Dead After Landslide in Koh Samui Picture from responders. In an incident in Koh Samui, Surat Thani, a landslide caused by heavy rain buried the makeshift shelters of construction workers, leaving two men from Myanmar missing. The workers were stationed at a site where four vacation homes were being constructed, located on a hillside in Soi Hima Thong, Moo 1, Ma Reet Subdistrict. The landslide struck early in the morning, around 04:00 on December 15. After a search of over 10 hours, rescue teams, including local authorities, military personnel, and construction workers, managed to dig through the mud and debris. At 15:30 they discovered the bodies of the two missing workers buried beneath more than a metre of soil. The deceased workers bodies, identified as Mr. Aung Ko Ko, age 19, and Mr. Mo Set, age 39, were retrieved and sent for examination at Koh Samui Hospital. The recovery operation faced significant challenges due to ongoing heavy rainfall, which raised the risk of further landslides, complicating the search and rescue operations. -- 2024-12-16 -
